A continuous tap was heard outside Navya and Nandini's house as Manik was waiting for the door to be opened and for him to see a beautiful face smiling at him.
Ringing the bell again, which is the third time now Manik stomps his foot loudly showing his restless behaviour..
*Lock opening noise*
Manik straightened himself hearing someone open the door, fixing his hair in a hurry and stood there clearing his throat for a dashing morning look for his sweetheart
But much to his disappointment, as the door opened, he saw a face which now scrunched her eyebrows with confusion looking at him.
Nav: Manik?
Man: hi, umm.. goodmorning Navya *awkward smile*
Nav: Good morning..
With a pause of 10 seconds of Navya just staring at Manik and Manik feeling very weird, she realised she hadn't let him in..
Nav: aa.. Andar aao na..
Man: *steps in* Thanks. Wo actually, Mene aur Nandini ne office saath me jane ka plan kia tha so..
Nav: Nandu upar hai, tayar ho rhi hai.
Man: Oh.. ok
Manik smiled and smirked to himself, hearing that cute nickname Navya has for her. Should he also start calling her Nandu? Or is it too soon? Oh, how he would love giving her nicknames and pull her cheeks every time she would make that pout getting annoyed by his funny names for her.
While Manik was busy in his la la land, Navya just kept looking at him thinking about certain things. Now that she is here with him, it is a perfect opportunity for her to interrogate him.
She is not going to fall for his handsome charm, because she already has lost her heart to someone as stupid as Cabir.
Nav: Betho Manik
Man: Thanks *sits down*
Navya comes infront of him and was about to sit on the table just face to face with Manik, but thought that, that would be too much of an intense move for her interrogation so changing her mind she sat on the hand-rest of the mini sofa side ways to where Manik was seated.
Nav: So Manik, tum Nandini ko office drop karke apne kaam pe jaoge?
Man: Nhi, wo.. I actually had some work at the building so.. I'll go there.
Nav: Hmm, tumhara office is at Tulip Towers or somewhere else?
Man: No, one is at Tulip Towers and the other.. at.. Thane.
Nav: You said that you had come here for some work. So you are not situated in Mumbai?
Man: when did I say that?
Nav: Aree, that day when you and Nandini first met
Man: *thinking* haan, wo.. I meant I was at the Tulip Towers for some work.
Nav: Ohh..
..
..
Nav: So construction business haan?
Man: ya.. yaa
Nav: What's your company's name?
Man: nir- ... *Bites his tongue* mala.. Yaa, Nirmala.. constructions.
Nav: Oh, never heard of it here..
Man: Haan, my main projects are abroad so.. *sly smile*
Nav: Oh, that's nice.. Nirmala is quite an Indian name.
Man: Ya.. ya.. I named it after... after..
Nav: After?
Man: After my.. Grandma! Yess! Grandma
Nav: oh.. you quite forgot your grandma's name there..
Man: *nervous laugh*
Nav: I had a question for you Manik.
One more question? Why don't you take my life right away Navya? Like seriously!
Man: Haan pucho
Nav: Nandini ki flight, parso.. it got delayed by an hour's time. She texted me and so I did not come to pick her up. But, tum. Tum waha exact time pe kaise pohoch gaye?
