Hook's POV:
Hook had woken up much earlier that he usually did. Way before any of the other crewmates were awake but most importantly before Y/N was awake.
He carefully crept around his room about to prepare something but...he stopped for a moment and just gazed at Y/N.
Her H/C hair fell in an abundance of curls that framed her face perfectly as she slept. She looked so peaceful. He bit his lip and frowned to himself, how could someone so beautiful love a monster like him? After all, he had kidnapped her that surely wasn't a good impression at all. Especially if she was to then love him out of his selfishness and eagerness to be loved.
James got up with a huff and continued his morning plan, he opened a drawer where he'd been keeping some pressed flowers and things for a special someone.
He put together a little card decorated with pressed flowers. Red chrysanthemums, which meant 'I love you' followed by some four leaf clovers asking 'Will you be mine?'.
Hook had spent some time learning the language of flowers, when he had travelled out of Neverland he would sneak into libraries and read through topics that no one in Neverland would even think of.
He finished the cover of the card and began to write in the contents, a love poem. Yes, as cheesy as it may be, this was the love language Hook enjoyed most. He never got to share his passion for writing much, this was the perfect chance.
Some minutes had passed and he signed off the card: 𝔍. ℌ𝔬𝔬𝔨 𝔵
He wondered for a moment whether he should've signed it in less formal way but he closed the card and slid it into an envelope.
James gently laid it down on Y/N's chest so she'd find it when she awoke.
It was still quite early so he cuddled back onto the chaise longue and fell back asleep.
