Chapter 2 - 2: The Smiler

After hours of nonstop running you were out of Almond water, fuck! You ran as fast as you could with the little stamina you had. Eventually, you physically couldn't go any further, you collapsed on the ground, breathing heavily. You look behind you and see the smiling figure looming above you, it's razor sharp teeth smiling down at you.

You sigh and pull out a small flask V gave you, it was full of a liquor like substance. You downed the whole thing and braced for your death.

Y/N: "Great, not the first way I thought I'd die."

The monster got closer, it was sniffing you. He gets an excited look and starts laughing.

???: "Grahaha! You should've seen the look on your face! You were like, 'oh my fucking god!' BAHAHAHA!!!!!"

Y/N: ".....Huh?"

???: "Heh, c'mon, stand up. You got more running to do."

Y/N: "I physically can't stand up."

???: ".....Shit, well I guess I could take a break. Just, keep the light away from me, ok?"

Y/N: "...."

The entity sits next to you, licking their fingers.

Y/N: "What are you?!"

The entity looks to you and rolls their eyes.

???: "I'm a smiler, a humanoid creature that lurks in the dark. We are part wolf so don't be surprised if you hear growling."

Y/N: "There are others?!"

???: "Well, this is my territory, you just stumbled upon it, and I decided to have a bit of fun with you. You certainly are fast. Way faster than the others. They didn't fare too well."

They lick their fingers and smirk at you. You gulp and look away. There was something they didn't mention, they had a very deep voice, as deep as that one guy online that has a bunch of fangirls.

???: "You can call me Ravage, and I'm a male, you look like you were curious about that."

Y/N: "Good to know....so, why aren't you eating me?"

Ravage: "..... You're just.....I dunno, different from the others..."

Y/N: "How so?"

???: "I don't fucking know! Stop with the questions before I change me mind."

You quickly shut up and look away from him. He stands back up and picks you up and puts you over his shoulder.

Y/N: "Hey! Put me down!!!"

Ravage: "Nah, you're coming to my crib, we can talk more there anyway."

His hands were a bit to close to your rump, you sigh and let him carry you, you had no say in this.
