"This vineyard is absolutely beautiful!" Lucero says in awe as she looks around the breathtaking scenery that surrounds us.
The vineyard is really beautiful, there is no doubt. There are white roses that surround the place which makes decorating a lot easier when the wedding comes.
The grass is completely green and trimmed, there isn't a spot of yellow grass anywhere. There is a beautiful pond that provides nice background for the ceremony.
And you can see the vineyards perfectly from where we are standing. "Amara, you did an amazing job," Lucero compliments me and I give her a tight lipped smile. I hate that Lisa put me in charge of this wedding.
"Thank you, but it was honestly Marissa. I just found a bunch of vineyards and had her choose one," I tell her and she rolls her eyes.
"Take credit for once in your life," she scowls at me and I laugh.
"Which reminds me I forgot to ask..." she trails off and already begins to plead to me with her eyes.
"What is it?" I groan.
"I need help organizing Dario and Marissa's rehearsal dinner," she tells me and I mentally gag. I am already planning their wedding, I don't want to plan their rehearsal dinner too.
"They need one?" My voice annoyed.
"Yes," she squints he eyes at me. "So, will you help me?" She smiles and I huff.
"Fine," I huff and she claps her hands in excitement.
"We get to spend more time together!" She says and I laugh. "Where are they anyway?" She asks and I shrug my shoulders.
"They should be here in like five minutes," I look at my watch dreading the moment I get to see Dario walk in with Marissa.
Has he been ignoring me for her? Has he grown tired of me?
I look at Lucero to see her looking through a big plastic bag she brought with her. "What's that?" I ask her and she smiles.
"Well, since Marissa is pregnant. I though I could give her some of Elijah's old baby clothes and some outfits that Julian doesn't fit in anymore," she says and opens the bag to show me.
"I forgot she was pregnant," I tell the truth. To be honest, I completely forgot about her being pregnant.
For a moment, I thought things weren't that complicated, but they are. Not only will Dario be a husband, but he will be a dad too.
But in the back of my head I can't help but wonder if it's my dad's baby or Dario's.
"A baby is such a blessing," Lucero sighs as she stares at the baby clothes that used to be Elijah's.
