The plane was landing. It was merely an hour until Janet would finally see her mother.

Janet went through customs and baggage claim, then made her way to the waiting bay where she saw a woman holding a sign with her name on it.

"Janet? Is that you?" Her mother's voice sounded better than on the phone.

The mother and daughter pulled each other into a tight embrace.

"Well, we better get going if we want to get back home before Scott wakes up.

Janet's lips pulled upwards to form a smile at the thought of seeing her twin after so long.

Mellisa, Janet's mother, pulled into a driveway to a small house with a beautiful garden that wrapped around the whole house.

"Wow." Janet was speechless. It was everything she thought her mother's house would look like.

"I know," Melissa acknowledged her daughter's state of awe while exiting the car to unlock the front door.

"Let me show you your room" Melissa led Janet through the cosy little house until they reached an empty bedroom.

As soon as Janet stepped foot in the room, memories began to run through her head until her mother spoke up.

"I didn't know what to do with all the stuff you didn't take with you, so I just let them be. Well, you must be tired from your trip, so if you need anything I am just next door, okay?" Melissa asked softly.

"Of course. Goodnight mom"

"Goodnight"

Janet approached a mirror that sat in the corner of her room, slowly raising her shirt as she went, revealing a bite mark scar on her lower abdomen.

Janet decided today would be a great day to go for a still in the park. At night. Alone.

Her mistake. By the end of the night, she was howling at the moon..
