Wes was at school talking to jack on their lunch break, when jack remembered something he had wanted to tell Wes. "Hey have you heard of this person called the White Cat?" Jack asked. "No, are they some kind of anime nerd or something?" Wes replied. Jack gave Wes a stern look. "Says the guy who's seen at least five anime." Jack retorted. "And no, they're supposedly one of the fastest racers in the next town over.". "Ok, but why the name White Cat?" Wes replied. "Because she drives a white 91 crx, and is stealthy like a cat on the road." Jack answered. "Ok I'd like to race this person." Wes said. Then the bell rang and they had to go to class.
Wes was driving home from school when his cell phone rang. He put the phone on speaker and answered it. A modulated voice started speaking. "Hello is this the wes I've been hearing so much about?' asked the stranger. Wes replied "Maybe, who's asking?". "The White Cat." was the callers answer, "I've heard about you and was wondering if you would like to race some time.". "Sure meet me at the top of the mountain near town at ten on Saturday." Wes replied, slightly curious to see the face behind the voice. "Ok, I'll see you there." was the reply, then the "White Cat" hung up.
Saturday cane and everyone was anxious to see who this "White Cat" was. Sure enough, a white 91 crx rolled up to the start line. it had a Duraflex type M front bumper and sideskirts. it also had a VIS racing hb tnr rear spoiler, and a set of Enkei gt7 wheels. When the driver got out, everyone was shocked to see a girl in a t-shirt and jeans was the driver. She walked up to wes and offered her hand to shake. Wes shook it and asked "what's your real name? If you don't mnd me asking.". She replied' "I don't mind at all. My real name is Allen Magm. My parents decided on the name before I was born.". W.es asked "ok, do you mind if I call you Allie?". She was shocked, as most peoples initial reaction was to mock her for having a guys name. "Sure go ahead." she answered The flag guy told them to get into position. Both drivers were ready to go when he started explaining the rules. "Ok, this is gonna be a normal style race." Flag guy said" Do you both understand the rules?'. Both drivers acknowledged their understanding. "ok, green in 5...4...3...2...1...GO!" he shouted. Both cars shot off the line towards the first corner. "Ok, I'm gonna have to be smart about this." Wes thought "That crx is a lot lighter than my sierra. It's also front wheel drive so it should have an advantage in the corners.". when they reached the first turn Wes was surprised by the fact that the Honda had very bad understeer., His questions were answered when they got to the first long straight and she pulled away. "Ok so she built that thing for speed on long straights. well sh's gonna regret that in the middle section of the course.". The crx kept the lead for the entire first section, but then they got to the second section and it started having issues. "it's ok" Allie thought " I have a big enough gap to stay ahead.". What she failed to notice was the sierra had closed the gap in the beginning of this part of the course due to its superior handling. Allie was shocked when Wes got to the inside on the next corner and overtook her. Wes pulled enough of a gap through this section that in the final section she couldn't pass him. Wes crossed the line first with Allie only a second behind. They both congratulated each other and went their separate ways.
