(THIS PART IS SHORT, SORRY)
You wake up in vast darkness and attempt to sit up, bumping your head instantly. You raise your hands above yourself, trying to push whatever's there away.
Using all of your strength, you finally manage to push a large rectangular stone off and stand up quickly just to realize you had woken up in a cemetery.
Slowly, you glance at their hands. Your skin is pale and pastey, and your left hand is completely bone. You can't help but feel an overwhelming sense of dread and grief flood over you when suddenly you hear footsteps and whispering coming from behind.
"Who's that?" A high-pitched voice murmurs.
"I'm not sure, but they be such a beauty," A voice with a distinct accent spoke. You turn around to see three people standing behind you.
One looks like an ancient Egyptian mummy, one is a red-head pirate with an oversized pirate hat, and one looks like a modern-day girl but... Dead.
"Who are you? How did I end up here? And what's with the costumes?" You shouted as you proceeded to march over to them.
"I'm Isis," the high-pitched one proclaims.
"Me names Gonner, tis' a pleasure to meet ye," the distinct accent says.
"I'm Dixie, half-mortal, half-zombie," a chilled female voice mutters.
"Half zombie? You're kidding, zombies don't exist," Y/N shouts, "and you never answered my question, what's with the costumes?"
Dixie, Isis, and Gonner all look at each other then back at you.
"These aren't costumes, this is how we look," Dixie proclaims.
"Let me tell you what I told Dixie when I first met her," Isis butts in, "We're zombies, it just takes a little getting used to."
You groaned before walking to the gate quickly to leave, but right before you could even touch the gate, Isis steps in front of you.
"You can't leave! You're dead! This is your home now," she shouts at you in a serious tone.
"I'm not dead, and you're crazy," You yell angrily, before pushing Isis away and leaving the cemetery.
Isis stands there while staring at you. "Ay, they're gonna be a tough one," Gonner murmurs while standing next to Isis.
"I never thought I'd say this, but I think you're right," Isis mumbled under her breath.
You ran through the forest trying to find your way to town, the sun begins to rise and you begin to feel tired and get a massive headache. You sighed and searched for the nearest place to take a nap. Eventually laying down underneath a tree where you soon fall asleep.
