"Awakening The Azoth 101" (UPDATED)

It's been about a week since You asked Dixie about giving you and your mother one more chance at life. You havn't received any update on the situation. You can't help but wonder why it's taking so long. Is Dixie just not doing anything or is she having trouble? She's the holder of the Azoth, shouldn't she know everything about it?

Gonner and you sit near a small pond chatting away about the Azoth and it's many hidden abilities.

"Hey, Gonner? " you question softly.

"Yes me hearty? " Gonner replies, matching your tone.

"Do you think that maybe if the Azoth can bring someone back to life, maybe it can also make water or sunlight safe for zombies? " You ask while looking into Gonner's eyes.

"Well, tis a possibility, I assume it would take much power. " Gonner smiles at you before hugging you. "Ye know, it's worth a shot."

Gonner and you sit in the grass and look up at the stars, you can't help but feel safe and at peace when you're with Gonner, maybe it's his charm or charismatic personality? Maybe his determination to succeed? Whatever it is, it makes you have not a care in the world.

Eventually, Gonner looks over at you and ruffles your hair gently. "Ye miss yer life, don' cha?" Gonner forces a smile while he speaks. "Ye know, we would miss ya."

You frown slightly and hug Gonner. "I would miss you guys too, but I'd still come visit"

Gonner hugs yoh back and sighs, "It be gettin' close to the sun rising, we should head to our coffins." He stands up and reaches out for your hand and helps you up, walking you to your coffin before heading to his own.

A FEW NIGHTS LATER, GONNER AND YOU HAVE ALREADY SPOKEN TO DIXIE ABOUT USING THE AZOTH SO ZOMBIES MAY WALK DURING THE DAY, DIXIE HESITANTLY AGREED TO TRY.

Dixie, Gonner, Isis, and you are sitting in a circle holding each others hands, the azoth in the center. Everyones taking slow, deep breaths.

"Okay," Dixie begins to speak softly. "If Vitriol was correct, this chant should allow me to reconnect to the azoth. All you guys need to do is stay calm and keep with the breathing, got it?"

Everyone nods and continues their breathing steadily while Dixie begins to chant.

"Awaken, powerful azoth, I call upon you to arise and reconnect with the holder of you," the azoth begins to glow and slowly levitating higher into the air, inch by inch. "Oh azoth, awaken now with power, the power for peace, unity, and love!" Dixie shouts loudly before repeating this two more times, each time the azoth glows brighter.

After a brief moment the azoth flings itself into your forehead, knocking you out. A few hours pass by and you wake up. "What happened..?" you ask in a calm, tired voice. "Why does my head hurt so badly?"

Gonner, Dixie, and Isis stay silent for a brief moment before Gonner speaks up, shakily "The azoth chose ya', matey." your face shows confusion and concern, "What do you mean 'the azoth chose' me?" you inquired.

"When we were doing the chant to awaken the azoth it shot over to you and knocked you out," Dixie begins to explain. "And once you were down, it vanished, and your chest started to glow around your heart area."

"So what you're saying is that the azoth merged with me, so now I'm part azoth? That's funny," you state, everyone stays silent. "Wait, you're being serious?"

Everyone nods. Gonner walks up to you and holds your hand. "Ye are the body of the azoth."
