Before Achlys joined PLEDIS or Seventeen, Achlys being 'the one' meant simply that the story of her childhood provided a backbone for the redemption she so sought for (to pay those she had wronged without even being born, ironically the people whose nature determined them to be her protectors). Her family became the dorsal architecture radiating grief from her existence as 'the one', and although they hurt her, it's thanks to her family that she is with Seventeen today.
