A beautiful sunset was behind both of us, as we talked and laughed near the big oak tree.
The leaves were falling on the slightly wet grass we were laying on.
Rui looked at me, with his diamond blue eyes, and his faintest smile.
These were our last moments with each other until I'll leave.
Moments later, I told him, "I'm going to the states for college, Wait for me in this same spot we're in okay?"
The last words I told him, before I left and actually went to the states to study medicine.
There was no fun anymore, there was just books and books piled up in the same order.
I miss the old days when I wasn't stressed about anything. Where I was was always the best.
I miss the laughs and the talks with Rui. Now there's no more of that, just studying and studying endlessly until I become an actual doctor.
