It was the tall boy from the bookstore he was outside smoking a cig he didnt seem to notice me at first. I was about to call a cab when i realise the opportunity i had at this very moment, The boy ive been wanting to ask the name of out here outside of work. Perfect, I know exactly what to say. I walk over to him " Hey! Its me from the bookstore!" i said walking over to him. He turned around a bit stunned "Oh! hello! your the one that gave meh the secret garden book!" so he did remember me. " Yeah! thats me! ive never actually asked but what is your name?" "Oh right! my name is-" "2D!?!? I-OH MY GOSH"
we both turned out heads. Somone was running towards The boy from accross the street "Oh my gosh 2D! I love gorillaz! can i please have a picture?" The boy smiled "of course!" he took a photo with her and she ran off "gorillaz.. im sure i have heard that name somewhere... " he looked back at me "Oh! yeah.. im part of a band called gorrilaz im the lead singer!" he said slightly fast. I was very surprised beacuse it seemed like i was talking to somone who was somewhat famous "but thats beside the point.. Im 2D! and you are?" "Y/N" he blushes a little bit "Y/N... that is a very nice name you know that?" I blush a bit "Thank you!.. 2D is a super unique name!" he laughs a bit "Oh! 2D isnt my real name! people just call me that, you can call me stu or stuart, or 2D. whitchever you prefer" I think a bit "how about little mix of all three?" he laughs "sure! why not!"
we dont talk for a little bit. I break the silence "so... why'd you come to this party?" " i got dragged here by my boss murdoc." "your boss? is he nice?" He looked down and spoke "eh, kinda. when hes drunk hes nice. why are you here?" "i got dragged here too my my friends for my 21st birthday" he looked up at me "Happy birthday!" Then he smiled big exposing his 2 front teeth that were missing "thank you!" it got quiet again "well.. i will have to be going now.. It was nice meeting you stu!" "nice meeting you!" i called a uber really quick and started walking away when he grabbed my hand "wait! could i get your number?"
