The sun has nearly set, a man upon a lonely hill near a small cabin stares into the sky. He is indeed muscular. His shirt is ripped and his pants barely holding together, he seems to be upset though its hard to tell. His eyes don't have a glare, and his eyebrows are completely bland. As if he was emotionless but.. I could tell a scorching fire raged inside him, how could a man possibly bear that much power? Though his power fades into the dark, just like the sun, I see the man get up and walk into the cabin.
Oh, it's time to head back to the bar, some customers should arrive soon. Well I should change, it would be weird not too. Walking around shirtless and skinny isn't normal, although Ms. Merlin wouldn't mind, she doesn't even see me as threat, hah. I miss her so much, I wonder how she's holding up. I hope she's safe, I mean who am I kidding, She's probably with the captain.
Escanor breathes in softly knowing, deep inside she loves the captain with every breath in her, and that he will never have a chance.
Escanor walked to his tavern, My Sweet Gluttony. He enters, and starts to clean. He sweeps the floor, scrubs the tables, wipes the counter to order, and cleans a few cups. After a good 30 minutes or so he's finished, he pants, and takes a seat waiting for people to come in. After a while...
A few men walk in, and call out, Hey! Merasin. Escanor's, bartender name. Escanor shyly shares a greeting with the men with a few handshakes and a simple "hi". They sit, and high paid men order for the 7 men who walked in.
'Hello, men I take it you want the usual? Escanor says. The men nod and go to sit , and Escanor pours the ale. Then the 7 men who were there decided to have casual conversations. Some talked about absent Knights, and others talked about Liones's destruction, but 2 men, Jarien and Harsel, 2 of Escanor's most loyal customers decided to have a weirdly related concept revolving around The Seven Deadly Sins. The men said, "Those seven deadly sins, I heard they all went to Liones and defeated a bunch of demons there!", the other says "I heard, it's the talk of the town. I can't believe all of them are reunited, well except Escanor." , Escanor listens and gasp, when he goes to bring them their Adoria ale, Escanor says, do you happen to know where they are?
They said, "I hear they are near Camelot, they did get rewarded at the kingdom and sent to Camelot to assist King Arthur in battle with a few demons." Suddenly, Harsel ask, "Why do you ask, Merasin?"
Escanor replies with an ordinary answer to get him off the belt, he says..
Well, it strikes me how they supposedly betrayed the kingdom and now they are rewarded as heros. Jarien replies ..
Oh, I am surprised you did not hear about their set up, they've been set up by Grand Masters, Drathus and Hendrickson. They wanted to kill Zaratros to become the new Grand Masters and conquer the kingdom, but Hendrickson took it as far as swallowing demon blood and turned into one, leading to the fight between the captain of the Seven Deadly Sins and Grand Master Hendrickson.
After a long 6 hours, Escanor announces that he's going to close the Tavern. Jarien, hungover says..
Noo, you can't. I am having such a great time.
In a shaky voice, Jarien says he's too drunk to leave anyways so Escanor helps him to the door and outside.
They wait for a few and then a carriage stops by.
Escanor says ,
Can you drop my great friend of at a medic please? He's sick and he could catch a fever.
The man in the carriage agrees too but only for 3 coins. Escanor grunts, and goes into his pockets and hands him the coins. The man in the carriage thanks him.
Oh my, I am out of ale. I will have collect some in the morning on my Journey to Camelot.
