Awakened Feelings

Merlin groans, with her hand on her head.

Merlins POV : Did I over do it? Where is Escanor?

Merlin feels a sinking gulp in her stomach, and it rises to her throat. She rushes towards the bathroom with her robe on, and starts to throw up.

Escanor wakes up and rushes toward the bathroom to accompany her. He cleans her face, and wipes her clothes.

Escanor :
Ms Merlin, are you alright?

Merlin : No, I might've drank to much, and I have a fever.

Escanor : Well we should get you back to bed, I will take care of you. Let me go make you a soup.

Merlin smiles, and thanks him, suddenly her heart starts to beat a little faster.

Merlin POV : What is this feeling?

She finally realized, and she accepted it. That she loved Escanor with a burning passion. He was so good and dear to her, and all she did was toy with his emotions, she was lying still, dozing off, looking for ways to tell him.

Escanor on the other hand, his heart beat faster and his chest stung, as if he was being burned. He knew what it was, his love for Merlin. He got so caught up in his passion and confidence he accidentally burned himself. He grabbed a bandage to put on it but he didn't want to burn Merlin's soup so he let it sting, while he was stirring her soup. Finally he placed it down, and rapped the bandage around his hand. The he got a hot towel, he picked up the bowl and hot towel and walked up the spiral stairs. He places the hot towel on her head and fed her the soup.

Merlin exclaimed with joy.

Merlin : 

This is so good.

Escanor : Thank you, Ms Merlin. But there is something I wanted to tell you.

Merlin : Me too, you go first.

Escanor : I-
Escanor : I love you.

Merlin lightly gasped, and her eyes locked on to Escanor's. She hugs him and pulls him in for a kiss. Their lips smash into each other's.

Escanor was surprised.
He kissed her back, holding her close.

Merlin pulled back.

Merlin : My turn.. I love you too.

They look at each other, they've been caught in a trance then..

Elizabeth rummaged in! Panting.

Elizabeth :
Do you too need any healing?

Escanor :
Yes, Ms. Merlin she has a fever.

Escanor's mustache twitched. He looked at Merlin a bit concerned, but after a few seconds he could only stare at her with passion.

Elizabeth :
Merlin's fever could get really bad, we should lie her down, but first lets help her to the shower to wash up.

Merlin :
Escanor can you carry me to the shower, my legs feel as if they are paralyzed.

Escanor :
Of course, is there anything else?

Merlin :
Can you ask Hawk to bring me my soap? I don't want to use Ban's he is indeed a slob.

Escanor ;
Got it.

Hawk :
No need to come down here, I already got your soap! I know that pain, Ban washed me with his soap and I stank bad for 3 days.

King :
Pffftt!

King laughing, exposed him and Diane. He was spying on Merlin and Escanor with a invisibility seal, they saw the kiss.

Merlin :
King, is that you?

Escanor :
How rude! !

Diane :
Hehe! They caught us King!

King :
Guess so, well its time to go poke Ban for food.

Merlin :
Ah-ah-ah. Elizabeth and Hawk. Thank you but can you step out, me King Diane, and Escanor need to have a brief conversation.

Elizabeth and Hawk exit the room, and Escanor closes the door.

Merlin :
So you saw us, earlier?

King :
Yeah, it was reassuring, I thought you would never see Escanor's feelings.

Escanor :
You can't ever tell anyone about this, without Merlin's permission of course.

Merlin :
Escanor, it isn't a one-sided relationship any more, you can decide wether you want to tell them, but that's not up to Diane and King.

Diane :
You are right. It isn't, we promise to keep it a secret, until you decide to tell them, that is if you ever.

King :
Yeah, totally up to you. I am just happy for Escanor.

Escanor thanks King, and everyone leaves the room, and heads down stairs to eat Bans cooking.

Ban :
Hey you all except me too cook, if you want to eat then cook, or at least gather supplies. The only exception is Elaine, she is sick.

Escanor :
Now now, Merlin isn't feeling well too!, In her absence I will get double the ingredients and I will cook 2 full meals.

Ban :
Now that's the spirit!

Meliodas :
Alright let's hurry up, I am starving.

Elizabeth:
Sir Meliodas, make sure you be careful.

Meliodas :
Now, now. You don't need to worry Elizabeth. I will always come back to you.

Meliodas is touching Elizabeth's behind.

Elizabeth :
Hahaha.

Escanor sits down Merlin at the table and heads off to get wild gain and ale.
All the others do the same, but too keep from anything bad happening. Meliodas, Ban and King went left and Escanor, Diane and Gowther went Right.

Escanor had just finished killing a gigantic red rabbit, and shroomers.
Gowther killed a bunch of boars.
Diane figured she get vegetables, so she got large amounts of lettuce and peas.

Meliodas brought back 6 dragon-frogs. It was gruesome. Ban on the other hand brought back loads of random animals, and King, well he just brought back potatoes and lamb.

After everyone came back, Ban and Escanor started to cook. Merlin was surprised since she thought only Ban knew how to cook good food, but the soup she had earlier was exquisite.

Escanor is setting up plates, and Elizabeth is helping to serve them, Ban is cooking and everyone else is and drinking. It was a lovely time for everyone.

It is late afternoon and Escanor finally finished setting the plates, Ban made leftovers and left loads of scrap for Hawk, and Hawks Mom, and Elizabeth was being harassed by Meliodas, the momment was close to being perfect, but it was awkward for Gowther and Merlin. Everyone was eating and before they knew it, it was night and Escanor was in his tiny form. The moment was so dear.
