Serena and April stand outside of TCRI. Serena gives the signal, and she and April make their way into the building. The girls made their way past the security cameras and made it to the top floor where Baxter Stockman and Shredder were testing a new substance.
"When I found this thing, I never could have imagined its significance. But this Commander Krang, he said that this will help open a portal to another dimension?" Stockman asked
"And when we do, we'll join him in dominating this planet. We'll have ultimate power. All thanks to Valentina." Shredder explains, he turns his head to the corner where Kaden Valentina was tied up
"And indescribable glory. To be responsible for opening the fabric between two worlds! It's..." Stockman says excitedly
When he turns and looks at his old friend, he feels slightly remorseful.
"There are other pieces required to open the portal. If those four brothers are still out there, we need to create soldiers that can defeat them with a single blow. And this will help us do that. It needs to be synthesized. Which is where you come in." Shredder says
"Ooh. Here come the brains. Yo, Rock, check this out."
April turns her attention to the criminals Bebop and Rocksteady, who are messing with something in the lab. Serena's is still on her dad. She struggles to contain her tears as he notices her. He tries to tell her to get out of there, but Serena shakes her head.
"Beebs, I got to get myself one of these."
"Think of what we could do with this! I feel like I'm back in science class."
"Now all we need are test subjects." Stockman announced
Shredder loads what looks like a tranquilizer gun.
"Candidates that will easily fall under my command. Large in size. Low in intellect."
The girls watch as Shredder shoots the two with the purple substance
"That stings! And not in a good way."
"What's going on? [laughing] What is happening to us?"
