Chapter 2 - Aaron

The only thing—or person—on my mind for the past three days has been Elliana.

I got weak in the fucking knees when I saw her at Starbucks. I may or may not have bumped into her on purpose, but I really wanted to talk to her. When we were talking, I was trying my best to not fucking pass-out right there. And in class, her outfit, her voice, her eyes, that shit really put a spell on me.

After I heard her full name, my body froze and went into a panic. Of course, she seemed familiar. My dad would kill me if he found me looking her way, but he doesn't know, so fuck it.

We planned to meet at my house today to start our project, I cleaned my room so I wouldn't look like a fucking mess in front of her.

"Damn, who's coming into your room?" Roman walked in while I made my bed.

Me and my two best friends, Liam and Roman, bought a house five minutes away from university. We obviously have the best parties.

"Just my partner for art." I was about to explain, but I got interrupted by the door bell. Fuck, she's here. Right on time, too.

We walked over to the door, and I welcomed her in with a smile while admiring her. Her eyeliner was so sharp, it could cut; her button nose looked so perfect; her lips were perfectly pink; and her curtain bangs flawlessly framed her face. She was wearing a brown cowgirl crop top with beige flare pants, pretty.

"Y-you look really pretty." I saw Roman side-eye me. He will never shut up about this.

"Don't I always?" She gave me a half-smile while looking at my outfit, I was wearing gray sweatpants and a black hoodie, nothing too fancy.

"Hey, I'm Roman," He gave her a dazzling smile, the kind that makes people drop to their knees and makes me question my fucking sexuality. He had black hair and green eyes, and was a huge extrovert. He was also my only friend I had in high school.

"Elliana, you can call me Elle." She replied, her voice barely showing any emotion. Damn, this is awkward.

I led her to my room, I took a deep breath and broke the silence.

"So...wanna take notes about each other?" My hand rubbed the back of my neck while I gave her a hopeful smile.

She chuckled.

Yes! This is the most emotion she's shown so far.

"Sure, let's play 20 questions," She sat on my bed, analyzing my room.

I had the biggest room in the house. It had a fucking balcony, a huge bed, a couple of led lamps, and a bathroom connected to it.

My dad owned a business and was into the mafia. Why not put the money to use,

I should be a sugar daddy-stop.

"Okay, I'll go first. What's your full name?" She asked with a fucking notebook in her hand.

"Aaron Gray Hills." I hoped it wouldn't remind her of our past.

Her face went from calm to shocked.

"Oh-like the son of Carter Hills?" She breathed.

"Unfortunately." I could barely hear my own voice. She kept her eyes on me.

"Damn, okay... If our parents find out we hung out, we'll tell the truth, we had to do the project. Let's just hope we don't get murdered-fuck. " She started rambling. Cute.

"Yeah—for the project, of course." She would never hang out with me without a reason.

She slowly nodded and took a deep breath. It looked like she took this as a big deal.
