Dear Diary,

Finally, I got a new diary after finishing the one I had since I was in grade 6, meaning I have to introduce myself. To start my name is Luna Mira but everyone calls me Luna! I am a junior in high school and a new student at this school. Around 4 years ago I moved out of my town after my dad got a job in "the big city" which made me leave everything at age 13. A couple of months ago my parents had to go even farther away, luckily enough my Grandparents who still lived in my old town decided to take care of me. To be honest I wasn't that close to my grandparents so I was pretty shocked when they asked my parents to take care of me. I'm getting ready to see some of my old friends before school starts tomorrow. I have tried to keep in touch with them and luckily enough we have! So ill write later about what happens :)

As soon as she closed her diary she put her jacket on and went out. The weather outside was nice for a September fall in Canada, the breeze of the wind hitting her neck as her hair flies away, and the autumn leaves on the ground which she remembers a memory of her friend.. Or so she would say, stranger. After walking for 15 minutes she finally reached the cafe that her friends had told her to visit. The smell of coffee was all around the air along with chatter here and there. This cafe was not here when she left the town but I guess things change when you're gone for a while.

"Luna! Over here!"

A girl said

Luna immediately knew who that person was, it was her best friend! She had been waiting for this day ever since she left that many years ago.

"Hey Cole! How are you?"

She says hugging her.

Coleta Lee is one of Lunas' closest friends alongside her two other friends Layla and Haze. The four have been friends since kindergarten and have gone through thick and thin. After Luna left, all of them try to keep in contact with her even though it can be hard. All of them have entered 11th Grade at Horizon Academy. Time seems not to have gone by since they last saw each other a couple of months ago when she had visited. Catching up with old friends always lets memories flood in from when they were still children, sometimes not even wondering how much time had passed by since they all first met. The mood set it all with the nostalgic music.

"Hey, you guys want to go to the karaoke place that just opened up?"

Layla says

"OMG YES! Luna, you need to experience the glory of this place"

Cole says with excitement while grabbing everyone so that they all link arms with one another.

As they were walking Luna heard a familiar voice, a voice that could send her into a sea of her own tears or get into a fight within the depth of hell if she wasn't surrounded by anyone at that moment.

"Luna, are you okay? You look a bit pale"

Haze says.

Everyone stopped in their tracks to check on her. The three girls looked around the area to find where that stranger was.

That voice... so familiar like I just heard it yesterday, but what is he doing here? I thought he left?

Stop. why are the memories coming back to me?

Stop.. please God stop this. Not the memories. Please. I thought he was happier when I left then didn't he leave to? I started to hear our laughter when we were still kids, I felt like I was being pulled back in time with my head spinning in circles, I had trouble breathing, and suddenly... I was brought to that memory

"Luna? LUNA MIRA!"

The two other girls hurried to Haze who had caught Luna just in time. This was not the first time Luna had fainted.

"Fuck. where is that bastard?"

"I can't find him anywhere, do you think she thought she heard him?"

"Most likely. Poor girl, I thought she forgot about him already."

The three friends walked back to the cafe since there was a couch so that Luna can lay down in a proper safe place. When she heard that she would move back to her hometown, she knew it was not going to be easy, especially with him there. She had heard shortly after she left the stranger also left with his family to live in Japan. Until then she thought she would live the rest of her life without that thing being in her life anymore, but how could she when she needed to get over that thing which hated her guts more than she can say otherwise? Well, let's just hope school the next day would be bearable... hopefully.
