Survey corps: It could be many things honestly, it's Eren for christs sake. Not doing well enough cleaning, talking back, fighting with Jean etc. Somehow every other week this dude gets in trouble and is on stable or cleaning duty.
As a kid: For wanting to join the survey corps💀 Mikasa snitched.
Armin🌊
Survey corps: Armin has the unofficial record of not getting in trouble and everyone knows it. Except for one time. Connie and Sasha were pulling a prank on Levi and Armin ended up getting caught in the middle somehow and he was the one blamed. He only got a 'talking to' since Levi knows he wouldn't actually do that. Either way he cried after.
As a kid: From reading. Them kids had no mercy on him.
Mikasa🧣
Survey corps: For going a little overboard on protecting Eren obviously. Although one time she got cleaning duty from bitch slapping Jean a little too hard.
As a kid: She did not.
Connie👩🏼🦲
Survey corps: This man constantly goofs off in training. And pulls pranks with Sasha all the time. Everyone is surprised when there is a few days where he hasn't gotten into trouble.
As a kid: For trying to shave his sisters head.
Sasha🍖
Survey corps: Stealing food, pulling pranks, and oversleeping. She doesn't have a concept of time. And her and Constance are a mischievous duo and not to be fucked with unless you have a death wish.
As a kid: Staying out too long in the woods, she would come back after dark and her family would always be incredibly worried.
Jean🐴
Survey corps: Either for flirting too much or fighting with Jeager he is always somehow on stable duty because Levi finds it funny that it can be his punishment since he always gets called horse face.
As a kid: Disrespecting his mother. Disappointed.
Reiner⚡️
Survey corps: He wasn't there long enough. He got punished for being the armored.
As a kid: Did he have parents....
Bertholdt🤥
Honestly all is the same as Reiner.
Hange🧪
Survey corps: For not showering, sleeping too late, forgetting about the cadets, or experimenting going wrong. The lists continues. She's always punished or reprimanded by Levi.
I didn't do some of the others such as Ymir, Historia, and Levi/Erwin. Since they either weren't in the corps for very long or don't get in trouble.
