Chapter 40

I saw her. I spoke to her.

She looks the same. Her cheeks are still rosy, Her eyes still looks like How she adores me before. Or maybe that's what I think. But She never changed she still looks beautiful as always. She didn't change physically but maybe she change emotionally.

When I got the news I expected to see her anytime soon. But I never actually thought that it would be too soon.

After she left, I left as well. I left the school. I saw how she doesn't want to talk to Me. I saw how her face change when she gave me a nod.

I sighed and went out of my Car. I walked to my door and stopped to see a Cat. A random cat. I shoo it away but instead of going away it Sticked on me.

I sighed and Picked it up, I saw it has a collar, I took a peek if It has it's owners name but I only saw letters.

I  sighed and End up bringing it inside. I went to my room and Slept letting the cat do whatever it wants. Maybe its owner will just knock on my door or something.

Third person POV

Jaemin sleep until until midnight, He woke up because of hunger, He sighed and went out. He saw the cat On the couch sleeping. He ignore it and went to the kitchen.

He sighed once again when he saw Nothing But strawberries. He closed the fridge and took his Car keys. He went out and went to his car driving to get himself some food and To sunlight.

Soon he got in sunlight's grave. He stopped when a familiar figure was standing there. Looking at Sunlight's grave

He slowly walked towards sunlight and crouch, ignoring the girl. He put down the strawberries and lit a candle. He sat on the grass staring at the candle

Hae was there standing looking down at him.

Hae: fancy seeing you here

It was a surprise to Jaemin that Hae Talked to him. It is a surprise that she's speaking to him with a soft tone. Jaemin didn't answer but Only nod. Hae sighed and Sat next to him.

Hae: should we talk?

Jaemin gave her a nod. Hae took a deep breath and Stared at Jaemin's side profile.

You never change, you're still handsome like always.

Hae: how are you?
Jaemin: Okay

Hae perked her lips as she Watch Jaemin who is only watching Sunlight while hugging his knees.

Hae: Jeno's girlfriend, what's her name again?
Jaemin: Taeji
Hae: are you going to keep answering me with one word?

Jaemin sighed and Shake his head, He didn't bother sparing her a glance.

Jaemin; I can answer pro-
Hae: then answer me properly.

Hae took a deep breath before looking at sunlight. She isn't mad. In fact, it also amazes her how clam she is speaking to him right now.

Hae: Have you been coming here?
Jaemin: Everyday. Never skipped a day.
Hae: I see. Thanks, thank you for coming here
Jaemin: I'm just doing What's right. No need to thank me.

Hae oh-ed and Just stayed in silence. He comes here everyday, While I came here after 4 months. Im a terrible person.

Jaemin: Do you uh have a soulmate?

Hae was surprised at his question, But she acted like she  wasn't. Hae turned to stare at his face and smiled a little

Hae: I do

Jaemin turned to her and Gave her a smile. Hae returned that smile.

Jaemin: I hope he treats you well

Better than I did.

Hae gave him a nod. Before Reaching for his hand, Jaemin was surprised but let her hold his hand, She played with his fingers just like before but stopped when she the ring.

Hae: You're still Wearing it. Isn't your soulmate going to be mad?
Jaemin: I dont have a soulmate
Hae: hmm

Jaemin nod and Pulled his hand away from Hae. Hae stared at him with sad eyes.

Hae: Im sorry t-that uh this things happened.
Jaemin: it already happened Sun- Hae

Hae turned away from Jaemin. She sighed and Stared at the strawberries. A small smile crept onto her face. But it suddenly disappeared when Jaemin suddenly stood up.

Jaemin: It's late, go home.

He uttered before walking away, Hae stood up and followed him, calling his name. Jaemin halted and Turned to Face the girl

Hae: Can w-we still be friends?

Friends?

Jaemin stared at her coldy before Turning around to walk away with out answering her

Hae: Hey, Can we? Even just friends Jaemin. After all we were once happy, After all we were friends before this happ-
Jaemin: I can't be friends with you.

Jaemin paused yet didn't turned to face the girl. Hae was frozen just listening to him

Jaemin: If you want us to be Friends then you're being unfair
Hae: Jaem-
Jaemin: I expected to be Mad at me. I though it would be the worst but I could accept that you're mad at me.
Hae: If this is about the things I said before Im sorry-
Jaemin: But Seeing you looking okay and calm, makes me feel like I was really the one who killed sunlight. It feels like I was really the one to be blamed.

Jaemin's POV

I dont know why I suddenly feel pissed at her. I really dont know why.

I was waiting for this day. But seeing her looking okay while Im still suffering from The lost of Sunlight really makes me angry.

I dont know why. I do not have the right to be mad at her because she isn't in pain anymore, but somehow, knowing that I am the only one still in pain makes me pissed.

She left me when I needed her. She's the only one I had. She's the only one I could hold on to that time. But she left me all alone.

I am in misery all alone.

She wasn't here by my side. But now she came back, i dont know what to feel. I feel happy yet pissed. Pissed  that She had someone to hold on to, while Im all alone.

I am thinking maybe if I also had someone with me, Then Probably I could continue my day without shedding a tear for Sunlight.

Seeing her happy, pains me. Its so unfair. She left me all alone. She never even thought of me.

And the first thing she ask was How am i?

I am not fine. I was never fine. I am in pain. I am in so much pian. But I cant tell anyone nor crying on another person's shoulder. I was all alone while she had everyone with her. While I am here forgetting I have a life because she left me.

They all left me.

I was never fine. It feels like She lied. She lied that I was the one who ruin her life, But now seeing her looking happy It feels like it was the other way around.

She was the one who ruined me. She was the one who ruin my life and Not the other way around.
