Arthit's POV

"Rise and shine, my baby boo!" I hear the same voice tickling through my ears.

Ugh, why must this guy be so up early?

"Don't call me that," I snap and fold myself into the blanket again.

It's Saturday, I know, and this guy has been looking forward to weekends almost every day of his life! I get the craze and all, but my sleep is beyond important of all.

I can feel hands trying to grip my waist, so before they move higher, I warned him.

"Don't you dare tickle my ears. I am telling you, you annoying man!" I finally brush off the blankets and pillows away from me to sit.

"Aww good morning, too, P'Arthit!" Kongpob flashes the always gentle smile he has. I could melt right now!

"My morning would be perfect if you let me sleep in for one more hour. It's eight in the morning, Kongpob!"

"You slept early last night! Don't you want to look at my face longer?" He gives me a pout.

I dramatically roll my eyes to hide my amusement. How does he do that cute pouting of his?!

"Who wants to look at your face, huh?"

"You do," he answers.

"Huh, since when?"

"Just last night. You were tracing my face with your fingers," Kongpob replies with a big smirk.

"I'm taking a shower," I announce and rush to the bathroom before I pounce myself at him.

"Please take me with you!"

I can feel my heartbeat go faster.

Kongpob and his damn tricks!

"What do you feel like having for breakfast, P'Arthit?" Kongpob asks as the car reverses to park.

"Noodles?" I suggest. "It's been quite some time since I had one."

"Noodles it is," Kongpob nods in agreement.

"But how about you?" I turn to his direction. "You usually prefer doughnuts, right?"

Rather than giving thanks to my concern for him, Kongpob managed to make my statement dirtier than it is.

"So you really do pay attention to me. That's too sweet of you, Ai'Oon," Kongpob whispers.

Why does he have to fvcking whisper?

"I'm serious," I tell him as I grab the hem of his shirt. "I want you to eat the food you want."

I see both of his eyes look around for a moment before leaning in to say, "I'd rather wait to eat you in the bedroom, P."

And then he continues walking as if nothing happened. Gosh, the audacity!

While waiting for the food to arrive, I happen to remember few questions I have had in my mind for the last days. This might be a great time to ask him.

"Kongpob," I call out.

"Khap, P'Arthit?"

"I heard that your father visited the campus last week."

"Ah yeah, he said he'd been planning to take a look around the building," Kongpob answers, but both eyes on his phone.

"Hmm, did he tell you why? Like, did he have any other purpose than to just look around?" I ask again, but it seems as though his phone is keeping him too busy.

I don't want to be an impatient boyfriend, but I am, so I lightly slap the wooden table.

"Kongpob!"

I see him startle, "Khap?"

"You're not listening!"

"I am!"

"What did I ask, then?" I raise my brow.

"If Por has any purpose of being there other than checking the place. I told you, I'm listening," Kongpob says and finally puts the phone down for good.

I see his brows tighten a bit. Is he mad? I curled my fingers and retrieve my hands from the table.

Arthit, why must you be so impatient?

But I can't let this question go unasked, again.

"So, does he?" Trying to continue the convo, I lifted my gaze to Kongpob.

I hear a heavy sigh escapes from his mouth, "I don't know. You know that Por is not the one to talk about confidential stuff."

"Still, did he..." Calm down, Arthit.

Kongpob leans closer to the table, "Did he what, P'Arthit?"

I gather up all the remaining courage from my body and ask, "Did he do a background check on me?"

The table went silent in a snap.

Instead of hearing comforting words from Kongpob, what I hear is laughter.

"What's so funny?!"

I see his cheeks harden, "You, P! What made you think Por is checking on you?"

A useless question, damn Arthit! I don't know! Your father went to the company unannounced."

"And, so?" Kongpob smiles softly. "Por owns half of the university, remember? You are just fine, P'Arthit."

This is embarrassing! How could I forget that Kongpob's family literally owns half of Thailand?

"Forget it," I utter and lift my gaze away from him and towards the waiter coming our way.

I saw him open then close his mouth as the food finally arrive. Whatever joke he had planned to say had been burried for good at the back of his throat.

"You are too sweet, P'Arthit. You were thinking of how my family is gonna react on our relation---"

I teasingly shove a meatball in his mouth. "Shut up."

I duck my head to the bowl to eat my breakfast in peace.

"P'Arthit, don't be shy na. We still have to watch movies together this evening."

Right, I forgot I made a promise to take him out tonight, but only because I read somewhere that there won't be a rainfall tonight!

"Yeah, I remember. Go finish your food!"

The table went quiet once again and I assume it was because Kongpob is already busy indulging at the delicious noodles.

Little did I know, a meatball of the same flavor has been placed on my bowl. "Here's the meatball you fed me. I know you love them."

And instead of feeding that meatball into my hungry stomach, I could only stare blankly at Kongpob.

Gosh, the feelings he make me feel.
