A few months later . . .
I can't believe I got in. I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would actually be able to go to university in South Korea! Let alone one of the SKY universities!
It took a lot of begging and pleading to finally get my parents to agree to let me go. But they finally did! Even though there are a few conditions.
I turn to look out the plane's window.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, we will be arriving at the airport in 15 minutes." The pilot's voice announced over the intercom, "Please fasten your seatbelts and enjoy the rest of your flight."
"The moment that my plane lands, my new life will start." I thought contently.

Once I got my luggage I went outside to hail a taxi. I'm glad that I've been learning Korean for 5 years now or telling the driver the address to my dorm would have been impossible.
After zipping through traffic and seeing my life flash before my eyes at least 3 times, we managed to arrive somewhat unharmed in front of my dorm. I handed the driver my money and took my luggage.
I held in the beauty of the university that I will now be attending. All my life, I thought that I would graduate high school to end up going to the University of Toronto. No one, especially not me, ever thought that I would end up somewhere else. Yet, here I am.
I backed up to try to see all of the university in front of me.
"Oof" I exclaimed as I bumped into something.
I turned around to see what I had bumped into. However, I hadn't bumped into something but someone. And that someone was the handsomest guy that I've ever seen!
"I'm so sorry!!" I proceeded to cry out. "I didn't see you there!"
"Well, it would be hard to see me considering I was standing behind you." He said in a deep voice while smirking.
Both his comment and his voice managed to make me blush.
"You have a point. I should have been paying more attention to my surroundings."
"I think a part of the surroundings had you pretty distracted, didn't it?"
"Y-y-yes. The university is just so beautiful!" I managed to say
"You really are new here aren't you?" He looked at me while chuckling.
"Is it that obvious?" I asked mortified
"Well, I've never seen anyone else get so distracted by the building before. It's also pretty obvious since there aren't that many foreigners around here."
"Oops. I forgot about that." I say while blushing some more. Damn it. I hate that I blush so easily.
"Don't worry about it. Since you're new, so you want me to show you around campus?"
"Yes!" I exclaimed, grateful for his suggestion. "I would be really thankful if you would help me."
"Alright, then let's go! By the way, I'm Taehyung although everyone calls me V." He said while extending his hand.
"Hi V! My name is Eden! I hope that we can be good friends!"
