Chapter 2

I spent the rest of the day was spent with V. He was so sweet for offering to show me around! And the entire university is so great. But when me and V were walking around we got a lot of stares and whispers. I wonder if the other students don't tolerate foreigners that well? Hopefully that won't be a problem though.

It was getting dark so I checked my watch. It was already 10 pm! I needed to go get settled in my dorm room.

"Thank you so much for today V! It was really fun!"

"It was my pleasure. It's not everyday that I get to hang out with the University's most beautiful student." He said while winking at me causing me to blush.

Oh my God, I thought. He is such a flirt!

"T-t-thanks." I managed to stutter

"Hey, can I see your phone for a second?" He asked

"Huh?" Clearly his compliment was too much for my genius brain to handle. "I mean sure." I passed him my phone.

He quickly typed something in and then handed it back to me.

"What did you do?"

"I just added my number and sent myself a message so that I now have yours." He said smiling, clearly proud of his accomplishment. He is just too cute!

"Thanks. So I'll text you later? It was nice meeting you! See you around!" I quickly hugged him and started walking towards my dorm (which I now know where it is - I know I'm a genius :p).

"Wait!" Called out V. I turned around to look at him. And this simple action that even kindergarteners can manage caused me to trip on my feet. Shit! I'm gonna hit the pavement!
*slam!*
I felt myself slam into the ground. But for some reason it was feeling a lot softer than I thought it would. To be honest, I don't even feel hurt right now.

"Ow." I heard escape from under me.

OMG I fell on top of V! I scrambled to get off of him.

"I'm so sorry V!!!! I didn't mean to! I'm just really clumsy sometimes!" I started to apologize.

"Don't worry about it. If I didn't want to get hurt I wouldn't have saved you. But I couldn't just stand by and let your pretty face get hurt." He smiled at me.

OMG that smile is going to end up melting me.

"Now," he continued, "this is the second time today that I've ended saving you. I think I deserve something in return." He said, his smile now turning wicked.

I knew he was being too nice! He probably thinks that since I'm a foreigner, that I'm easy. Well that's definitely not the case.

"Well, that depends" I said

"Hang out with me tomorrow. Classes don't start for another week and you just got here so you can't have any plans yet. You can meet my friends tomorrow!"

That's it? That's what he wants me to do for him???

"Well I guess if that'll clear my debt with you . . ." I can't believe he wants to hang out with me again. I couldn't even keep the smile off my face.

"See you tomorrow, Eden." He said while going to hug me.

Oh my God his hug feels so good. I wish I could stay in his arms forever. But that would be kinda weird? Right?

"Bye V." I whispered as he walked away.

I can't wait for tomorrow! OMG I have to put an outfit together! Shit usually my friends Sarah, Albina and Amanda would just pick stuff for me. If it wasn't for them, I would probably look like a cross between a five year old playing dress up and a stoned hippie. Thank God for skype!
