The little figure was moving slow, soon to become a silhouette since it was moving towards the light from the window. Koda could feel the adrenaline in his blood and his heart in his chest. he waited. the laser was directly on the figure. it was still moving towards the middle of the hallway. almost there... a little bit more... just a little bit... "yes!" koda thought to himself as it was going right into the light. but it wasnt what Koda had expected. "what..?". right in front of him was a figure, a silhouette, in the form, of a cat. Koda, looking confused by what he just saw, sat down slowly and quietly, reached for his backpack and pulled out his flashlight. he held it above his shoulder like a cop and turned it on. in front of him, the now illuminated silhouette was now in the appearance, of what seemed to be a stray. Koda chuckled by what had just happened. He turned the flashlight off and put it back in his backpack. he then dug deep and found some snacks. some old biscuits that luckily werent outdated yet. he took out one and broke it into halfs. he put one half up to his mouth and held it with his teeth, while trying to get the stray over to him by waving the other half. succesfully, the stray approached Koda slowly. He smiled and sat down, waiting for it to be next to him. when the stray was right by Koda, he held the other half of the biscuit in front of the stray. it looked at it at first, studying it, analyzing it. then bit into it. Koda let go of the half as the stray began eating it. "woah! easy little fella, ive got more of that." he chuckled as he was looking at the stray that had almost devoured the entire half, like a magician makes things disappear. Koda held his hand in front of the stray. it looked at it. he proceeded to slowly put his hand closer and closer. it didnt react. Koda didnt either, he kept moving it closer. so close that it could smell his palm. no reaction. "hm..". He smoothly put his hand under its chin and scratched it softly.
