PART 25|GONE

All my sisters gone
And I did nothing to protect them

Eventually I gained some sort of courage to run back upstairs, not caring about the noise I was making

It was too late now

I run back into the normal room to see Cordelia myrtle and Mallory still in here, evidently hearing what had happened

"Micheals out there" is all I can pant out

Cordelia looks at me, stern
"Go into the room" and I nod

I run in and I shut it, letting the door hide itself away behind me, from the outside it would look like an empty wall

I flinch at every gun shot, there was nothing we could do now, and I hear footsteps come up to the room, I gulp heavy

"Where is she?" Is the first words that come through his mouth, we had an escape plan of course

Myrtle and Mallory had gone, leaving only me and Cordelia

"She's gone, only somewhere I know" I close my eyes, fighting the urge to go out

"I could just kill you" his threat was empty, we all knew he wouldn't, but just in case, Cordelia speaks up

"And if you did, do you think Eve would ever forgive you? I've hidden her from you, only me and her can break the spell

If you kill me she'll know, and you'll never see her again"

It was a half lie, evidently I wasn't exactly hidden from him like that, he could probably easily find me if he knew where to look

And if he killed Cordelia... she was right there, I'd never want to speak to him, and I know he won't

Because he won't take that risk

He says nothing, I can tell he's contemplating it, but he doesn't, and I hear footsteps recede out the room

He had gone, and kept her alive

I let out a heavy gasp as I undo the spell, letting the door reopen and I look at Cordelia, we say nothing as we leave the house, leaving our poor sisters behind

-TIME SKIP-

We had gone to Mistys old house, secluded and far away from everyone and I watch Cordelia writhe on the bed

The remainder witches, coco, Madison, Cordelia, Mallory and myrtle were all here, the last of us

She has been astral projecting, back to the old house, I could here her cries as she watched them all, it pained me to just sit and watch

Suddenly it got violent, she was screaming and we had to wake her up, she jolts up

"You're safe Delia" is all I can say to her

She cries our "I saw them, I couldn't feel their souls there was nothing" I furrow my brows as I try to hold back tears, it genuinely hurt to see her like this

Her sadness turns to anger "I couldn't bring them back, why could I bring them back?" And I watch as myrtle tries to soothe her

"Oh, shit"
We all looked up at Madison, who uttered this sentence, and Cordelia stands up to look at het
"What?"

Madison starts stammering, and I worry for what this means "when we went to the house where Micheal was born, we found out we could do this thing"

"After he kills someone, he can... erase their soul"

I let out a breath, realizing what this has meant
They were gone, more than gone
"He can like, burn their souls so there's nothing left, they don't go anywhere they're not ghosts they're just...
Gone"
They didn't even exist anymore, I hold Mallory tight, now more thankful than ever that she was still alive

Cordelia starts to lash out and she slaps madison, we all immediately get up to de-escalate the situation, I go to Madison first as the others take care of Cordelia

"How could you keep this from me?! You put all of us in danger!"

I shout up at her "Cordelia stop!" But now it's her turn to target me
"And how could you? None of this would happen if we didn't need to find a bullshit way to keep you happy! We could've just killed him"

I frown, she was right, and that's the worst bit
She was right

And Madison gets up to, getting right up in her face

"I told you he was the Antichrist what more did you need to know?"

Myrtle finally gets in between them, and I breathe slower hopeful they'll stop fighting

"This will do no good, we can't turn on each other now"

Myrtle always spoke words of wisdom, we truly couldn't right now, not after a devastating loss
Loss that I indirectly created

"None of this will bring back our girls,
They're gone Delia, they're gone"

Cordelia starts to break down again, holding onto myrtle as she falls to the floor, I had never seen her so distraught and several emotions went through me

"Their must be something we can do" I hear her cry out, and I huddle on the floor, trying my best not to cry again

Myrtle speaks up though
"Maybe their is" and I look up at her confused, she then nods to Cordelia

And looks at Mallory

A few moments pass as we calm Cordelia down, we all sit down and myrtle picks up a book,
"Tempus infinituum
We don't teach it to our students, because it's considered a myth"

We were all sat around Mallory, as this gets explained to us

"There has never been a confirmed case of a witch who has it"

Cordelia had pulled herself together again, and we had no time for apologies, but it was clear nothing said was meant to harm us in her rage

"A girl imbued with this gift, is said to have the power to change past events,
Alter history"

I look at Mallory, shock overcoming me and I see her process this info, I squeeze her hand lightly, letting her know that it would be okay

"Are you saying this bitch can travel through time?"
