Introspecting on what has been unanswered
Whether you want me or not
The warmth of your touch lingers on my skin
Your voice, it resonates within this feeble heart
A transient bliss
That for each attempt of pursuit
It eludes like a butterfly, evanescing
Into oblivion
But will arbitrarily rest on one's fingertips
At the most undesirable moments
When all I needed was to be with you
