I hearken to thee, oh Cosmos
From ancient specks of thy putative genesis
Flowing within the veins of a senescent vessel
To the stellar gist dispersed in the vast welkin o'er me
And a dazzling cloud from the remnants of a supernova
Yet the chasmic gap remains an enigma
One which mankind awaits to unravel
For thou were the greatest wonder to civilization
From its advent to the forthcoming future
Speak to me, oh Cosmos
As thy systems inevitably head toward entropy
An inherent facet, ubiquitous among things before men
To which it brings forth the beauty of a juxtaposition
Between the darkness of nihility and spectral radiance
Shalt thou art the last I behold ere a sempiternal slumber
I could fathom perchance the infinite, the rarity to exist
