Zelda was sitting in the square, on the edge of the fountain in the middle, in front of the throne room as Sidon came up to her.

"Your highness?"

"Mm? Yes? How can I help you Sidon?"

"Nothing, I just wanted to check in on you, and I realized that we have never really talked."

"Oh." she said a look of sadness crossing her face, the memory of her fathers wide shoulders turned to her as Champion dragged her out of the castle grounds.

Sidon sat down next to her. "In my time, our Zelda is in the process of rebuilding Hyrule. She is establishing trade routes with neighboring countries, she is destroying monster bases one by one, she is becoming an incredible bowman and skilled archer, and she is developing her powers for good, to help eradicate malice from the land. Everytime I think that this may be too much for her to handle, she does that, and then some." he leaned back, "Even after fighting the Calamity for 100 years, she is still saving hyrule. Something that she taught me is that you can do anything. I just thought that I would pass this on to you. You will do anything and everything that you want to do, and you will save hyrule."

"Oh Sidon," Zelda said, water gathering in her eyes, "thank you so much." She gave him a big hug, and he squeezed her back.

"No problem, Your Grace"

Zelda let go, and took a shaky breath. She heard Impa yell "THEY'RE BACK!" and turned around to see-

Champion. Laughing.

Wild was covered in mud head to toe, telling some sort of story about a Hinox and tree branches, and Champion was laughing. It was a freeing kind of a laugh. One that reminded her of the way the wind laughs as it blows across the Hebra Mountains. She had never heard him say much of anything, let alone laugh. She loved his laugh. She decided then and there that that was the best sound in the world.

She went up to greet them. Wild waved and Champion gave a shallow bow, still smiling. Zelda waved back, and walked up to them.

"Wild, if I may, Why in the name of Hylia are you covered in mud and grass?"

Champion snorted and Zelda smiled at the sound.

"Well you see," He said, shooting a glare at Champion, who was trying to smother his smile "I tried to ride a lynel. I heard the roar in the throne room, and went up to Shatterback Point. It was going fine, until I saw Champion. Then it bucked me off, and I was thrown into a mud pit." Champion started laughing again, and Wild was trying and failing to glare with a smile.

She has never heard something so amazing.
