With a flick of his clawed hands, my arms were suddenly floating next to me.

I blinked in shock for a second before realizing what had happened.

"WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FU-!?"

And without any warning, there was a swift flick on my forehead, turning my vision fuzzy before I crumbled to the ground.

"Shut up, you naive human."

And like that- that was the quickest I had ever fallen asleep in my life.

Sunlight filtered through the rundown ceiling and walls of the building, the early rays landing directly on my eyes.

"I swear I shut my blinds last night..." I grumbled, lifting my hand to shield my eyes from the bright sunlight that was assaulting my closed eyes, "And I had the strangest dream. Or should I class that as a nightmare?"

My eyes fluttered open tiredly, peeking through my fingers into the glaring sunlight. Only for a killer headache to ram into my skull like a truck.

"OW- fuck! Did I stress out so much I got an aneurysm?! I can't afford an aneurysm!!!" I groaned while my skull throbbed in pain, my hands shooting up and covering the spot that was somehow in the middle of my forehead.

"I think Master God has gone insane, Shachi." I heard someone whisper, making my heart drop as I thought:

'Who the fuck is in my apartment?!'

My eyes flashed open despite my pain and I quickly turned around to see two... floating people.

"WAIT THAT WASN'T A DREAM?!" I yelled, seeming to scare the two... people?

The two people flinched at my sudden loud tone, and I took that brief pause to look at my surroundings.

"AND WHERE AM I?!"

I sat up so fast that the two people seemed almost shocked.

"... WHAT TIME IS IT, SHIT-?!"

My feet scrambled to stand up, stumbling slightly when my headache made itself known with a sharp pain in my temple. My hands searched my pockets for my phone, disregarding the blanket that was laid on top of me previously.

I sighed in relief when I felt my phone in my back pocket, before tensing up again after remembering that it was dead.

"NOOOOO!!!" I wailed after I pulled my phone out of my pocket, seeing the black screen stay the way it was even when I pushed the power button.

My eyes frantically searched the... ancient(?) room, trying to find the white rectangle of life before actually seeing one. I ran over to it, ignoring the confused calls from the floating people behind me.

I clutched onto the large, feather jacket like it was a life line, remembering that Cora(?)- I think that was his name- had put it in there.

Crashing down to my knees and magically not getting a splinter, I grabbed the charger out of the jacket's pocket and jammed it into the outlet, then, as carefully as possible, plugged it into my phone.

After a couple of insanely tense minutes, I broke out into celebration once I saw my lock screen appear on my phone.

"Woah! What is that thing?!" Someone mumbled behind my ear in curiosity, which made me screech in shock.
