Feather padded through the overgrown clearing. This forest had been only been touched with his paws. Its been so long since he saw another face... Feather stopped when he heard something. Another rabbit perhaps? He already caught one today. He crouched down, ready to attack the shaking bush. He leaped at it. A cat came out. He didn't expect it to be a cat. He yowled as their claws met his face. The cat bit his ear and ripped at it. The cat sunk their claws into his shoulder. "STOP! I DIDN'T MEAN IT! I THOUGHT YOU WERE A RABBIT!" He yowled, and the cat let go. "I thought you were a rabbit too. I could hear your footsteps from nearly a fox-length away." She said and then laughed a bit. "I'm Feather." He said cautiously, afraid the cat would attack again. "I'm Sunset..." She purred in a calm voice.

"Are the kits ok?" Feather asked Sunset with a plump squirrel in his mouth. Sunset purred a bit. "Their fine. We still didn't name them yet, did we?" Sunset looked at Feather. She eye'd the squirrel with a smile. "We didn't, why don't we do it now." Feather went up to Sunset and lay down with her, looking at the two kits. He placed down the squirrel for Sunset and Sunset smiled at Feather. "Well, I think that kit should be Chase." Sunset purred, pointing to chase. "Well, I think the other one should be named Storm." Feather smiled at the kit he named Storm.

"Dada... what happened to Chase?" Storm asked his father who was standing in front of Chase's limp body. "Storm, let's just say he isn't with us anymore." Feather sighed. He grabbed Chase's little body and walked towards the exit of the den. "No Dada! Don't take him away!" Storm yelled. "Storm, he's gone. He's dead." Sunset said in a shaky, cold voice. Sunset was more sad than she ever was before. This was Sunset's first litter... and she already lost a cub, 3 moons after having them. Feather brought the kit's body out into the cold winter. He could feel how cold the kit's body was... It made him want to cry a river. Feather found a nice place to put the kit in, it was an abandoned rabbit burrow that was nice and warm. Feather lay the kit in the burrow and take some dirt from the ground, covering the burrow's entrance. He then put some snow on top to hide it a bit more. "Father... why are you here?" A voice that sounded like Chase came from behind him. He looked behind him but saw nothing. He looked around a bit and then padded towards the den... that was weird... "Father! Where are you going!" The same voice called. He looked behind him again, nothing but the cold winter snow. Feather walked into the den to see a crying Sunset and Storm frowning at mother. "Stop crying, mama!" Storm yelled at mother. "Storm, just... please... be quiet." She said in her soft voice and continued to cry. "Why don't we get rest... in the morning, we will wake up and forget about this..." Feather sighed, hugging Sunset tightly. Sunset nodded and lay down by the pool in the middle of the cave. "Let's just hope the rest of us don't get green cough." Sunset sighed. Feather nodded and lay down, closing his eyes.
Feather woke up, in a pretty pink forest... with light purple grass. His paws felt so nice in the grass, all his pain and stress was just whisped away. He turned around to see what looked like an adult Chase, with a flowing galaxy tail and he had some orange in his fur. He looked so... mythical... Like the glowing pool in the middle of the cave... "Father, I need you to listen to me..." He demanded. He sounded so much older. "You must find 3 cats to solve the prophecy... you must find one to take place in an important event in history, that changes you and the clan's life." Chase explained. Feather looked at him so confused, "What do you mean... clans?" Feather asked curiously. Chase sighed, "I knew you would ask that. I cannot answer that right now, but, I want you to know this... You have a power... a power... a power in which you can talk to spirits any time of day. You can see me, your parents, your grandparents, anyone you wish to meet. You just need to think about them... and think about meeting them... and they will come to you." Chase explained. Feather nodded. "Make sure you complete the prophecy, father..." And then everything went away in the blink of an eye.
