...The first thought Porsche had when he woke up was, 'today is going to be difficult'. There was an ache in his bones do to working long hours every night. Nothing in his body felt right.
After dropping out of college, Porsche had taken any odd jobs he could find to support Porsché. This had continued until he met a woman, Yok, who took him under her wing and gave him a job at her bar.
He had promised Porsché he wouldn't go to the the fighting rings anymore. And he had tried to keep that promise. He really did, but sooner or later he was back again.
He would end up coming home shameful and disappointed with himself because he couldn't keep a promise he made for the most important person in his life.
Words and thoughts swam through his head as he got ready to take Porsché to school. Maybe in his next life he'll have it easier. He won't have to sacrifice so much.
Those thoughts vanished as quick as they came when he entered the kitchen to find his brother making breakfast for them.
Porsche knows he would do everything he's done again, as many times as he had to if it meant he could wake up and see his little brother smiling at him from the counter.
"Hia! I thought I would have to wake you myself." Porsché uttered as he shuffled Porsche to sit down at the table.
"So... I was wondering if you could get off work early today." Porsché mumbled.
"Any reason? You know the time I get off is very little do to staffing issues."
"I know, but I wanted to introduce you to Kim's family. They invited us for dinner and I said you would be there because I didn't want to go alone and I thought that if I already told them I'd go you'd say yes easier. I know it wasn't necessarily moral right but you have done the same thing to me on multiple occasions, although thus is nothing like those situations it just proves that I pay attention..." Porsché rambled on.
The first time Porsche had met the famous Wik, he had walked in on him making out with his little brother on his couch. Suffice to say it was not the best first meeting.
"Porsché."
"...and really you set the example for me.."
"Porsché."
"... it's not like we have to stay for long, though it is a meeting of sorts for both families..."
"Porsché!"
Porsché snapped his head up at the shout. What if he said something wrong?
"Porsché, it's ok, I forgive you. Next time, just let me know before hand and we can talk it over, ok? I just have to ask Yok for the time off." Porsche responded before his little brother could freak out anymore.
"Really?!?"
At Porsche's nod, Porsché jumped out of his seat and flew across the table to rap his arms around his big brother.
"I didn't think you'd actually agree!" Porsche laughed as he hugged his brother. He would do anything to keep him this happy, even if it meant letting his brother date Wik, he would agree to it immediately.
