Sophie and Fitz

Sophie's pov

We lightleap back to Everglen and when I open my eyes I see all of our friends there.  "Suprise," they yell.

"Guys, how do you know we passed?"

"Are you kidding me.  I would punch the Councillors if you didn't pass.  You did pass right?," asks Biana.

"Easy there Biana.  And yes we passed," says Fitz.

"Eeeeeeh," she squeals, "I knew it!"

"Let's party," says Keefe.  We turn on some music, and everybody dances.  After a little bit I get tired and walk outside on the back porch.  I sit down and just let my thoughts envelop me for a few minutes, until I hear someone coming outside.  

"I was looking for you," says a voice I have memorized by now.  I turn my head and see Fitz sit down next to me.

"I needed some fresh air.  I'm exhausted."  He smiles and puts his arm around me, as I rest my head on his shoulder.  We just there, enjoying each other's silent presence, until I eventually fall asleep to the slow and steady, rise and fall of his chest.

Fitz's pov

I realize it's getting late, and look down at Sophie sleeping on my shoulder, "I love you."  

I pick her up gently and carry her inside.  As I walk past the living room, our parents watch us, and smile.  I bring her up into my room, and set her down on my bed, pulling the covers over her.  I kiss her forehead, "Goodnight, Soph."  

I hear her sleepily mumble, "Goodnight."

As I walk back downstairs and into the living room, our parents look up.  I sit down next to my dad.  

"Sophie's asleep."

"Good, it's been a crazy night," says Alden.

"Ya," I say.

You guys really are perfect for each other.  No matter any of the bad things people might tell you, don't listen to them," says Grady, of all people.

"Thanks, we won't," I respond.  And I actually believe it.  Nothing could come between Sophie and I, we're forever.
