Sophie's POV

I wake up and instantly feel like I'm missing something, and that something terrible happened.  I think for a minute, and then it hits me.  Today is the day I left my family in the Forbidden Cities. My eyes start to water and I close them, starting to cry.  My parents come up a couple minutes later, but I tell them to go away.  They bring up lunch, but I don't eat it.

Fitz's POV 

I'm sitting in the living room with Biana, and she's talking working on decorations for the wedding, when I hear a whoosh and see Alden and Della walking outside.  They come in a couple minutes later with Grady and Edaline.  They all look worried.

"What's up?"  "Sophie's been in her room all day, ignoring us, and refusing to eat," says Edaline sadly.  "Do you know what's wrong with her?," asks Alden.  "No...wait..oh...," I realize what it is.  "What is it," asks Biana.  "Yesterday was the day that I found her in the Forbidden Cities.  Which means today was when she said goodbye to her family," I say slowly.  "So, what do we do," asks Grady.  "I'll handle this," I say running out to the Leapmaster, and leaping to Havenfield.

When I get there, I run upstairs and knock on the door, "Soph, can I come in?"  I hear a small, "Yes," and I open the door.  I see Sophie lying on the bed with wet cheeks, and I go over to her and lie down next to her.  I hold her against my chest and whisper comforting words to her.  After a little bit, she sits up and looks at me, "Thanks."  "Anytime," I wipe the tears of her cheeks.  "How do you feel?"  "Tired, but better.  I think I'm gonna go to bed early," she says.  "Ok, well, I'll head home then."  I get up, but before I can walk away, she grabs my arm, "Stay."  I turn back around and smile.  I climb into bed, and wrap my arms around her, kissing her forehead.  She falls asleep a couple minutes later, and soon I find myself drifting too.
