Part 1 Prologue

Once upon a time, in a not so far away land, times were hard and people were struggling.

money was short and jobs were few

many people was out of work and families were finding it hard to put food on the table

But then, thanks to the sitcom friends.

coffee shops started to appear

in every town and on every street corner

a new one opening every week

these were not just cafes but huge multi million pound companies

opening new establishments everywhere and anywhere

peddling expensive cakes and non descript sandwiches

that under normal circumstances we would never touch

a huge ever changing menu of mystery hot drinks

, that to be honest we don't really no what we are asking for

they even managed to get away with selling hot drinks cold!

some cups were so HUGE you needed 2 hands to hold them

other cups were so tiny, like a drink for a mouse

many of these venues were either very understaffed - 1 person doing everything

or 10 staff members all standing around talking about ians new tattoo, and not doing any work

there are even drive through coffee shops for this people who never stop

or you could even order you crapachino via the just eat app and have it delivered straight to your door by mohammed and his wife in the ford focus

despite cost these places were forever full

queues out of the door

As the years passed, coffee shops were everywhere yet apparently no one has ever got any money?
