3. First Day at Work

Everything was going through my mind and I just stay freezes in front of my house, then I realized the lights incide my house were turned on... I looked at the garage and I was right... my aunt was in my house... She was a busy person and she was always traveling because of work, sometimes she will come to visit me, she was supposed to be at my house tomorrow, so it was surprising to me that she came one day before. I didn't know how to explain the bandages I had in my hands, as I went inside I thought about what story to make up, nobody would believe that some demons hurt me and offered me a job.

I opened the front door and I see my aunt doing something in the kitchen, and before I could close the door she saw me.

Brenda (aunt) : "Y/N! Surprise! my boss let me come earlier so here I am! I was hoping to came and see you here but I did not find you, where did you go?"

I was trying to have my arms on my back so she can't ask anything.

Y/N : "Oh i... I went to Alex's house, do you remember her? she needed help with something so..." and while I was trying to explain something I moved my arms... guess now I'm doomed.

Brenda : "wait, what happened to your hands?! are you ok?!?!" she took my arm and started looking at it, meanwhile I was trying not to show that it hurt as hell, and make up a quick excuse about the bandages.

Y/N : "Oh yeah... well... I go to Alex's house to help her with some stuff that she bought and one was a little mirror... sooo i dropped it and when I tried to pick it up it was very sharp... and I cut my hands by accident..."

She did not seem very convinced of my story, but she didn't insist on asking more.

Brenda : "Ok!... Umm do you wanna help me in the kitchen? I just started so we can make it together!" My aunt was too kind to me, it is something that I still like about her, i agreed and went with her to the kitchen.

After dinner, me and my aunt went to our room to sleep, but I didn't sleep well enough, i kept thinking about what happened tonight, I remember everything that I couldn't imagine and I'm not such a creative person to even do that, all of that was real and felt real, I'm hurt and I still have the number that Blitz gave me...

The number! I was supposed to call them tomorrow but I don't know if I want to go with them again... but they know how to find me... what the hell I do now???

After thinking about it for a long time, i did it, I added the number that Blitz gave me to call them, i don't know if I'm doing the right thing but is better that taking the risk that some demons enter my house.

I couldn't sleep very well that night because of nerves, it was 7 in the morning and I heard my aunt on the first floor, she always wakes up before me.

I plucked up courage and called Blitz, to know when I could go with him and the other to work and apparently the number that he gave me worked! A few seconds later I heard how they answered the phone.

Blitz : "I hope that what you have to tell me is important because I'm in the middle of something, who is it?"

Y/N : "Ummm... hi Blitz... it's *Y/N*, i forgot to ask you... when do i need to go to work?..."

Blitz : "I TOLD YOU MOXXIE THAT SHE WILL CALL, GIVE ME MY FIVE DOLLARS!!!... Uhhh I made a bet with Moxxie, forget I said that... Ummm you need to be here before 8, do you want me to open the portal now?

Y/N : "Why would you make a bet...? ok... I'll be ready in 5 minutes... I call you later..."

Well... that was weird...

After the call I change my clothes and check my injuries... I don't know what the fuck they put me in my hands but the cuts looked even worse, but I didn't have time to even go to the doctor, now i have another problem, I was supposed to spend the day with my aunt, she was only visiting me 2 days and she always like spending time with me, i didn't know how does she gonna take this situation, I changed my bandages and went downstairs to talk to my aunt.
