5. Just a Disguise

It's been a few weeks since I've been working at I.M.P., and I was starting to get used to working with demons, once you get to know one, it's not as bad as people say, well, if you don't count them as killers, they're pretty friendly.

Millie and Moxxie are very nice to me, Loona after a long time finally spoke to me, even if it was just to say hello, and Blitz, even if Moxxie tells me otherwise, is quite friendly, he is funny and kind to me... I like being friends with him...

It was the start of another day at work, when I called Blitzø to open the portal he sounded very excited on the phone, saying that he "found something that might interest me", although coming from him I didn't know what to expect. I waited a few minutes and when I went through the portal I saw Millie and Moxxie drawing something in the floor with a chalk, it looked like some kind of pentagram, but it was not a drawing I had seen before.

Blitzø : "Hey! you're just in time, we were just finishing preparing... that thing I told you about" 

Y/N : "Hi... what are we doing today? I'm worried that whatever it is you guys are doing, you've come up with it"

Blitzø : "Oh come one, it's not that bad"

Moxxie : "yes it is, you don't even know if it's going to work" 

Blitzø : "Moxxie shut the fuck up, no one is talking to you, obviously it's going to work"

Y/N : "Can you tell me what you are doing?!" 

Blitzø : "Fine, well, yesterday I was reading the book, I never told you but there is a spell in here that can give us a human disguise, so that in the living world no one will see us"

Y/N : "it is clear that you really need it..."

Blitzø : "Shut up I'm not done yet, unfortunately I didn't find the spell, but I found something better" he started looking for a page in the book until he found it and showed it to me "I doubt you understand what it says here, but basically it's a spell for YOU to have an imp disguise, I tried to translate it like a thousand times in case I was reading it wrong but no, it's really a disguise to make you look like an imp!"

I was silent for a few moments, I didn't know what to answer to that and I didn't know if I should even believe him.

Y/N : "But... it doesn't even make sense! How is it that a human can have their own spell in the book so they can look like a demon?!"

Moxxie : "that's what I'm trying to tell him, but he don't understand that it only works for sinners"

Blitzø : " But humans and sinners are almost the same thing, I don't see the problem with that"

As always, Blitzø started arguing with Moxxie about the spell, before I knew it Millie had finished drawing that pentagram and tried to stop the fight to calm Moxxie down. Meanwhile I was still looking at the scene and at the same time thinking about that spell, how does it work? what will happen to me? what if it doesn't work and I get hurt? I stayed there for a few minutes.... "I can trust Blitzø, right?" I thought to myself, it's not like he wants to hurt me, every time I've been with him he has never wanted to see me hurt, for some reason when I thought that I felt calm and a small smile appeared on my face... anyway, I doubt he wants to do anything to his new employee whom he sees too much potential.

Y/N : " All right, I'll do it..." 

Blitzø : " REALLY?! " he approached me and put his hand around my torso energetically, being that he was slightly shorter than me "I knew you would accept, I can always count on you!" he said proudly, with a big smile, for some reason I could feel myself blushing, having him so close to me I couldn't help but get nervous... what's happening to me today???
