"Where were you?!" My mother yelled as we basically were having the meeting for the group she had formed. They all hated my mother because they treated me like this, but they knew If they muttered a word, they would be shot on the spot.
Now, to most, this group doesn't seem like much, but they are the strongest men in the world. They all come from the underground, and they've been trained through rain and snow to become what they've become today.
And I was among them all who is being trained to be a rouge. My mother is known to be the strongest person here, dangerous, and deadly.
I am the second one here who is also the second strongest.
"I was reading in the library." I said softly.
"Don't be late again, understand? Next time, I won't be as merciful." She said as she continued to explain the plan.
The plan was to send me to the scout regiment headquarters and listen in on their plans.
"This is going to be fun.." I said to myself as I listened to the plan closely.

So, the plan is, to listen from the outside since the commander is planning an expedition. To hear where they are planning on going and follow them and take out the commander.
Easy ain't it?
No. It's not.
How am I supposed to be able to do that?!
Anyways, I sat and listened to the plan that the commander told his regiment.
Before I knew it though, I could hear him say dismissed and I ran outside and ran back into the woods.

"Outside the walls Huh?" My mom said as she had me sit down.
"Yes." I said softly with a nod.
"Alright then. We head out first light. And Ashton. Good job." She said as she patted my head.
I remember the commander saying a few would be left behind, I didn't tell her that. I didn't even want her to know I may have talked to one of the cadets of the scouts. Otherwise, he would probably be killed by her, and I wasn't willing to put his life in danger.
What really worried me was if she was actually going to kill him.
I knew though, that I couldn't do anything. I couldn't do anything.
I would have to wait. Wait to see if I could possibly stop this operation..
Who knows what would happen.
Only fate can decide.
