A Child's Innocent Heart

Nightmare

Jack has been taking care of Yusei for the past month and they really have grown on each other.

Sure they had their ups and downs,but they lived pretty peaceful. They caught the guys that turned him into a kid and they told them he will be back to normal as soon as the potion wears off. Well Jack was pissed and kicked their asses with the help of his 'son'.

Now since Yusei had his memory back he's still been acting like a child so no one really knows when his child attitude will come, but it just does.

So now Jack and Yusei are in the bathroom giving him a bath.After the bath jack tucked him in and waited for him to fall asleep,but he didn't he just stared at Jack and Jack sighed and got a story book and read it to him.

But he still didn't fall asleep,so Jack sang him a lullaby,but he still didn't fall asleep.Jack tried everything in the book,but Yusei just stared at him with a expression that said sarcastically'oh wow I'm so tired not bad at all but I'm still awake dumbass'.

Jack picked up Yusei bear and put it by him and a few minutes later Yusei was knocked out and Jack went to bed.

It was three in the morning and he heard crying and yelling and he shot up and ran to Yusei room and busted the door down.Yusei was shaking and hitting the air fighting off invisible forces.

Jack grabbed him and Yusei screamed from the top of his lungs which were pretty damn good for a three year old.

"Yusei wake up!"Jack yelled shaking him.Yusei shot his eyes open and stared at Jack and started crying.Jack picked him up and rocked him back and forth. It broke his heart to hear Yusei cry so he sat there until he calmed down.Jack ended up falling asleep with Yusei in his arms.

The next morning Martha and team 5ds came and went to Jacks room,but didn't see him so they went to Yusei's room and saw the cutest thing ever.

Jack's hair was everywhere and he had his arms around Yusei and Yusei was laying on his chest.They both looked like they had a rough night,but they were knocked out.

Martha smiled warmly at the sight and went over and tucked them in then left and started to cook breakfast.

A few minutes later Jack walks in carrying Yusei with him.He was still sleep with his thumb in his mouth and his teddy bear.Jack smiled sleepily at them and gave Yusei off to Akiza then sat on the couch and went back to sleep.

They all shook their heads and laughed at the sight of a stressful concerned Jack.

Yusei started whimpering and mummbled something and fell back to sleep." I wonder what he's dreamin bout"Leo wondered out loud.

"He's probably having a nightmare again, he had one last night"Jack said wipping his eyes."Did you ask him what it was about?"Bruno asked.

"No, I had to calm him down we've both been up almost all night" he said lying back down on the couch.Yusei woke up and looked around with big innocent bright eyes.

He laid back on Akiza and looked at everyone.They were busy talking to one another that they didn't notice he was awake.

They heard a little sneeze and looked at Yusei who started sneezing again.He wiped his nose with tissue and looked at them.

"Hey there little man,we heard you had a nightmare last night, do you wanna tell us about it?"Crow asked smiling softly.

"Goodwin was doing test on me,he said no one love me and called me a worthless piece of trash,then he held me down and started doing things to me"Yusei said looking at them and laid his head back down and started to suck his thumb again.

"Its alright it was only a dream so don't worry bout it"Leo said smiling.

Yusei reached for Jack and Jack took him."Aww why can't I hold you~"Crow pouted."Sorry Crow,but Jacks the boss man I like you too,but jacks in charge."Yusei said smiling at him.

Jack felt proud that he was Yusei's favorite.

Everyone eat and helped jack throughout the day and they went home after dinner and Jack put Yusei to bed and he fell asleep as soon as he landed on it.

There were no more nightmares after that and Jack could finally get some rest and boy did he get it.
