꧁Chapter 4: Becoming a Sano꧂
╭──────༺♡༻──────╮
.・゜-: ✧ :-A little girl gazes through the window with dull eyes as her brother scrolls through his phone. Both minding their own business when the door to their room opens...
I side eyed the newcomer who dared break the silence and peace in our room. It was a woman with a maid outfit, she must've worked here.
"Nice to meet you Y/n-san and Daisuke-san. My name is Yasmine and I will be serving you from now on", she bowed. My eyes twitched. Did they seriously just send someone to spy on us? Kids??? How cowardly.
I sigh and give up. I jump off the window sill and stood in front of her.
"Hello Yasmine-san! My name is Y/n nice to meet you too! And this is my brother Daisuke. Please take care of us!", I giggle. She seemed surprised but smiled later on. "Understood. Please take care of me as well", she bowed.
Minutes passed and I was bored out of my mind. My tablet was still charging and I don't want to use it while charging. Who knows, it might break and we KNOW those goons won't buy me another one.
"Ne... Yasmine-san", I turned to the lady standing beside me. "Yes? How may I be of help?", I sweatdropped at her manners.
"Is there any library here that I can use? I want to read some books", the books in this gicantic room only has fairytale books and some with only boring pictures.
Our room is was so big that it was the size of a normal house! What is this a castle? Well, we are two but that is too much honestly. We also have this king sized bed too big for our small bodies. But at least they were thoughtful enough to not put cameras or microphone here.
"Of course. Right this way", Daisuke was taking his nap after playing with his phone. Which is also charging because it was on 5%.
My eyes sparkled in awe at how large the library was. 'So many books!!'
Yasmine chuckles at my attitude. I immediately ran to the front desk to find categories I'm interested at and finally I did.
Running to that section my eyes caught a certain book that I haven't read in a very long time. I brush my hands against the spine of the book and carefully took it out, my eyes waver and my smile widening.
