it's been about 2 weeks since everything went down with chris. we got back from palm springs 2 days ago and things were still the same. we were all going on a drive.

"matt i sent you a addy can you take me to it? i have to pick up my friend"

"uh okay.." he says confused

"madi can you sit here in the front when we pick her up? i wanna sit in the back with her"

my heart immediately drops. her?

"uh sure?" she says looking at me confused

"her?" nick asks

"yea" he says smiley

we got to the girls house i guess and chris got out of the car to go knock on the door. i got out of the car so madi can go to the front. "you sure you don't wanna sit in the front?" madi asks me "no im good?"the girl comes out of her house and she gives chris a hug. he used to hug me like that. who the fuck is this? chris and the girl walk over to the car holding hands. i get out of the car so they can go in.

"okay guys this is emily" chris says

we all look at eachother confused

"i'm matt" matt says lifting his finger up

"nick"

"madi" she says with a soft smile

"mia" i say with a soft smile

"oh.. i've heard a lot about you" she says with a face

"uh good things i hope?"

"sure" she says getting into the car

"okay.."

"nice meeting you guys" she says

"you too" we all say over eachother

we all got chick-f-la and we were getting to know this "emily" girl

"so emily tell us about yourself" nick says as we all turn around to face the two in the back.

"alright well emily" she says raising her hand "obviously.. uh my friends call me em"

as soon as she said this we all looked at eachother and snickered while chris and emily sat there confused.

"what's funny?"

"oh nothing just that's what my parents and everyone in here call me that"

"and that's apparently funny?" chris adds

"it is actually" i say eating a fry and looking at him

"okay.. well anyways i just turned 19 a couple days ago"

"oh well happy belated birthday then"

she continues talking and ignores what i says completely. what is she so rude for..

madi and i give eachother a look while she continues to talk

it's been about 15 minutes and man this girl has not. stopped. talking. i don't think i've heard someone talk this much about themselves in my life.

"OKAY. let's go home now" matt finally says while turning around to turn the car on

"oh you guys can drop me at ems. i'm gonna hang out with her for a bit and she'll take me home later"

"okay" matt says

emily and chris got out of the car and we all said our goodbyes. i get back in the car and slam the door.
