I finally managed to convince Gideon that letting me take help from the roundtable was a good idea he wnet back.
Now... Onto the important business...
"My lord. The knights are ready" a soldier said.
"Good. Tell them I'll be there shortly" I said as Melina appeared near me.
The soldier bowed and left as she sat on a chair.
"What are you trying to do now?" she asked.
"Nothing much. Just gonna gather every species against the golden order" I said.
"Oh o- Wait.... WTF!?" she shouted as I left while gigling.

Marcus POV -
"Hey? What do you think the lord will say?" my friend asked.
"I don't know Jaren. This is the fifth time youre asking me!" I shouted so loudly that a few soldiers near me flinched.
"Hmm? What's happening?" someone asked.
"I SAID I DON'T KNOW!" I shouted as I quickly turned around.
Now, you must be thinking that it was my lord.
But no. This wasn't the classic senario.
The person beind me was a normal looking soldier.
Well, other than the fact that he was wearing the old uniform from back when we were serving under Godrick.
"Ughhh... Sorry about that" I said.
"It's no problem" he said as he went to the stage as our lord soon arrived.
I was expecting the soldier to move away, but he pulled his sword and pointed it at our lord.
He didn't look surprised, and pulled out a thin katana without a handle.
The soldier quickly swung his sword, and the next thing I knew was that there was one less stage, and our lord was having a fierse battle with the soldier.
They both stopped after a few seconds, and then shook hands like they were best friends.
"Rick! I knew you would do something like that" our lord said.
"Ayeeee. (Y/N)! I knew you've gotten rusty since last time" Rick said.
"No I've not! You're still too strong!" he shouted.
They both laughed, and turned towards us.
"Everyone. This is my old friend Rick. And he will be training all of you for an expedition. You have one month to pass his training. All those who do, will be given weapons from my personal collection and allowed to join the expedition" he said.
"Yes sir!" everyone shouted.

As I expected, only ten people managed to pass Rick's training.
And that's still a lot considering I saw the soldier of God, Rick almost getting serious once during the training.
When the day for the expedition came, I started giving the weapons I promised.
