Avi really didn't have plans to come into town that weekend. He missed you.

Scott drove off with the kids right before Avi pulled into your driveway. He got out of the car and came to your door. Before he could even knock, you pulled the door open and just melted into him. You closed your eyes the noise from the television stopped. Loosing track of where his body ended and yours began, you felt so safe and comfortable with no worries or fears, just a calm feeling. He smelled of Fabric softener, cologne, and hair gel. A solid chemical overlay that encompassed you. Ending with a gentle kiss on the top of the head, as per usual, was just what you needed: a hug for the great Avi Kaplan.
