But..
He started it with all the right words. The moment I knew you were gone, I felt all your promises fade. I slowly move on and try to forget about you, but the past always remains.
He wants to to talk about him and i, and our future, but past memories of you and I brings me to tears.
So I tell him that I don't want to talk right now, but afterwards, that's all I want to do.
As time goes on my feeling for him slowly grows, but the memories still remain and I realize that's okay.
Someday, maybe, he'll be half the man that you we're. Or maybe, He'll be another heartbreak in my past. Just like you.
