Chapter 6

5 months later

I wake up in the morning looking out the window. I have on a big shirt I bought from H&M many years ago. Should I go to the beach today is like a 15 minute drive.

I go to the living room, seeing Jonah sitting on the couch with his leg crossed on his knee.

I hold my mouth he laughs at me.

"I said watch your surroundings, silly girl forgot to lock the door tsk tsk." He says putting a coffee mug down.

"How long have you been in here?" I ask him still standing near my bedroom door.

"About 15 minutes" he says to me, standing up.

"Are you going to Jayda's birthday thing today?" He asks me and I look down at my phone.

I call her real quick , she'll go crazy if I didn't say anything.

"Happy birthday, J" I say to her she laughs into the phone.

"Tank you" she says to me and I laugh.

"I just woke up, when's the event?" I say into the phone.

"At 5pm" she says to me and I nod my head.

"All girls or both"

"The guys can come at 7pm" she says to me.

"Okay okay bye" I say to her and I tell Jonah what she said.

I go to the party having fun with the other girls then the guys start coming in around 7:30. Jayda is extremely popular is crazy, there are so many people here I do not know.

I go in the hallway seeing Jonah talking to Jayda leaning against the wall. Jayda laughs and starts walking away she sees me and drags me away freaking out.

"Jonah is so odd I swear" she says to me looking behind her.

"What did he say." I ask her laughing.

"I don't like him but I think he likes me." She says freaking out.

"Who do you like then?" I say out in relief, I cover it up by coughing.

"Some guy , I can't say, we've been dating for like 4 months" she says smiling bitting her finger, she's so goofy.

"4 months and you didn't tell me" I say frowning she laughs at me , turning me to the door.

"Cuz we're not dating yet we are just very close and kissed one time, he hasn't asked yet but we both know we like each other" she says smiling.

"So you go hang with Jonah so I can escape him." She says pushing me into the hallway, goes out the other door to the other people.

"Hey Liyah" I hear Jonah say, I wave my hand.

"Partying it up" I say to him he laughs nodding his head.

"I'm trying not to drink tonight cuz I might do stupid stuff." He says to me , rubbing his eye.

"Yea, I'll hide them" I say joking around.

"You're a girl right?" He says to me and I laugh at him.

"No I'm a frog" I say to him he shrugs his shoulders , I hit his shoulder.

"What do you girls like?" He says to me.

"Really, it all depends on the girl."

"Jayda , I like Jayda but I don't think she likes me back.... Well you never know?" He says laughing, I nod my head.

"Girls are confusing as hell" he says pinching his nose bridge laughing.

"Ummm you're just going have to do that on your own." I say trying to walk away.

"You're friends with her , well like close to her so give me some tips." He says to me laughing.

Now I know how A.J felt, when it came to me. He likes my friend and I like him but he kissed me that one time and said he wasn't sorry now he likes Jayda apparently.

Should I tell him Jayda is seeing someone now.

He laughs walking away.

"Oh Jonah don't do it" I say to him he turns around.

"Do what?"

"Like talk to her , not trying to be rude but just don't talk to her too much tonight." I say to him he tilts his head.

"Why are you saying this?" He asks laughing, I bite my finger.

"Do it and you'll find out." I say walking back into the room going out the other side.

Jonah's thoughts

"What the hell?" I say to myself , Liyah is an odd one.

I've liked Jayda for a couple months now, I haven't told her but I implied it just a few minutes ago.

I go to find Liyah to ask what she's talking about. I ran right into her without knowing.

"Doofus" she says to me holding her head.

"Come on tell me what you meant"

"I thought you are Jonah you know everything" she says to me , I playfully scoff.

"I'm just wondering" I say to her as we walk down the hallway. She was ahead of me quickly trying to get away I guess. She comes back holding her mouth trying to get me to go the other way.

"What are you doing?" I say laughing at her.

"Come the parties this way."

"The kitchen is there and I need some water." I say pulling her arm off of mine laughing.

I walk to the kitchen and my jaw drops.

Jayda?
