I was in the principals office waiting I hear the door open "Mr Wills" she said as she walked up to me and sat in her chair "another fight really?" I rolled my eyes and said "he got in my face"I said to her "so you punched him" Ms Waller said to me "alright he was a dick to me better?" I say with attitude she sighs.

"Listen Noah I'm just trying to help I know things are not the best at home"Ms Waller said to me "you don't know anything" I said with my arms folded Noah "I knew your mother since we was in grade school she's had a hard life and losing your Dad just adds to that" when she said this I looked up angrily "My dad was a piece of shit who never cared about me or my mom" I said to her.

Ms Waller just looked at me and shook her head "well that's not the way your mother feels I still talk to her you know she's worried about you" she said to me I didn't say anything I just sat there quietly "your mother cares about you and that's why I'm not suspending you but you do have detention for a week I'm giving you three strikes Noah this is the first one and any more and I'm going have to expel you".

I walked out her office and walked outside and sat on the curb contemplating my life after sitting there I got on my skate bored and rode it home when I got home my mom wasn't home she was still at work I went in my room and closed my and as soon as i sat down I got a message on social media I checked it and it was that Miguel kid it said "hey Noah " I sighed and said "hey what do you want want"."Just wanted to see how you were doing "Miguel said back to me I threw my phone on my bed and went to sleep I need it after what happened today I said to myself.

The next day I was eating lunch with Miguel Demetri and Eli when the counselor started speaking on the mic "Cyber bullying is no laughing matter sending cruel messages to someone online can be just as hurtful as saying it to their face I'm not gonna names but the other day a mother called me up because her son was crying after some kids online made fun of his facial deformity" I looked at Eli and he was trying to hide his lip because everyone was staring at him I shook my head "but today our goal here is to make this school a safe space for all students".

"If you're sick of getting bullied my karate dojo is looking for recruits" Miguel then said to Eli I looked at him when he said that "yeah right you hear that Eli? A little karate training and you're gonna kick some major ass" Demetri said with sarcasm

"I'm serious Demetri My sensei's the real deal I'm sure I could get you all discounts" Miguel said to us "as enticing as that sounds I think we'd rather spend our afternoons playing crucible control than getting hit in the face"Demetri said "what about you Noah" Miguel then  said to me I looked at him for a while and said "I'll think about it" ok he said back.

After lunch I was walking out of the cafeteria when Miguel caught up to me "hey Noah" I stopped and Miguel ran up beside me "hey you going to the Halloween dance" he said to me "yeah I don't know" I said back "you don't know? you have to know" Miguel said to me "ok No "I said back why not? Miguel questioned me.

"because I don't want to it's not my thing" I said to Miguel while I was going though my locker "come on it's totally your thing"Miguel says to me "and why is that?"!I asked "um because you seem like a person who likes Halloween" Miguel struggled to say to me "yeah well I do like Halloween but not enough to go to some stupid dance" I said to Miguel as Closed my locker.

"Fine you don't have to come but can I ask you something?" Miguel then said to me "uh sure" I said back "were you serious about joining my dojo because we really need students" Miguel said to me "I said I'll think about it" I said to him "oh yeah for sure take your time text me when you made up your mind" Miguel said walking away I shook my head and walked away.

Later that night I was in bed just on my phone when there was a knock on my door come in said my mom then walked in hey honey hey I said back putting my phone down what you doing oh you know just in my bed chilling I say to her well i heard there was a Halloween dance tonight why aren't you there?
