Dan's P.O.V.
Of course Phil would have a bin in his room, I thought to myself. I heard a lock clicking, a sound I've heard too often these days. I opened the door slowly, preparing myself for what was beyond the door. I turned, and saw Phil back at the bin. There was slimy bile surrounding it, all over the carpet. Phil was still dry heaving, occasionally bringing up more of the yellow-green substance. Gagging, I turned around until the sound of heaving had stopped.
"Hi," Phil said weakly.
"Ph-"Phil's P.O.V.
"I TRIED REALLY HARD, OK? BUT FOR SOME REASON, I CAN'T FUCKING STOP. SO DONT GET ALL STERN WITH ME. I'M TRYING MY BEST. ISN'T THAT ENOUGH?!" I yelled, unable to keep what I was thinking in the back of my head. Dan's expression softened.
"I just don't want to see you go," he said.
"I promise, it won't get that far. I will see a doctor, soon. For now, I need a hug," I said. He took me in his strong arms, my head on his shoulder. We stood there for an eternity, in each other's embrace. Dan kissed me on the top of my head, and pulled away from the hug.
"So, I'm gonna go schedule you an appointment. Then I'll get started on dinner."
"Erm, judging on the sizzling from the kitchen, I think Rachel already did," I said, laughing. Dan then pecked me on the cheek, and left.
