I take the last spoonful of pasta from my plate, Nikolai then places the box in front of me and takes out a whole cheesecake.
I gasp at the sight of the creamy goodness. "We couldn't have cheesecake last dinner so.." he says sheepishly. "— I know you love cheesecake."
"I do!" I giggle as I set to find a clean plate inside my cupboards. It's been so long since I've had cake!
"—I remember you used to bring cheesecake and red velvet cake to Katie's room too!" I turn around after grabbing my plates and see Nikolai staring at me as his chin rests on his hand.
There he goes again.
He nods and stands up to grab the wine bottle to fill his cup again.
"You guys love pastries." He speaks in a pre-sentence making my heart swell with emotions. Katie has never been gone in my heart, in-fact she's one of the reason who I am today.
"We do." I say with a smile.
I cut a slice for each of us, the smaller one to Nikolai as he requested so. 'You know I don't eat sweets.' He said in a grumble. But still chose to eat the small slice I give him.
After the meal Nikolai was quick with his actions and swiftly took my plate... he didn't leave space for an argument as he started cleaning the dishes.
I whine at the big stubborn man. "—come on now, you have to at least let me do the dishes."
"You can do it next time." He said as he began to wash the plates after scrapping the food waste into the trash bin.
"Go change into something comfortable.." He said as he wiped his hands.
"What are we going to do?"
"Movie?."
"Okay." I answer with a laugh.
"Girls likes movie nights right?" He grumbled.
I walk towards my room with a grin.
I pick my best pair of pajamas; which weren't ruined by paint and other stain, then a hoodie. He did say it's movie night...
"Okay, What are we watching?." I ask as I step out of my room. I see Nikolai on his phone as I walk towards him.
"It's been handled. Yes...." He ends the call quickly and turns around removing the Rolex watch on his left wrist. He looked more comfortable as his collar was loosely opened with one more button; I notice the flower was now in a vase sitting in the middle of my kitchen isle.
I chuckle at the man.
"What?" He curiously ask with a frown.
"I just thought that, not only are you great at cooking, but also at arranging flowers."
