Jeongin is secretly not completely human. He's also a student and has to control his urges even when the new student Hyunjin seems to be triggering his symptoms by his mere presence.

Jeongin wasn't feeling very well. His body was sensitive and almost aching from it and his senses were heightened, making everything affecting him more. That night it would be a full moon so he knew he was going to have a rough night and would probably pass out of exhaustion the day after.

During this period, he would always try to stay silent and to remain as still as possible, to not trigger anything in his body. It had gotten worse since a few full moons back, suspiciously at the same time this new student joined his class. Jeongin wasn't gonna lie, Hyunjin was the prettiest boy he had ever seen. His attraction for him probably was the reason why his own body was reacting so badly.

The first classes of the day were okay, he was most of the time sitting in the second row anyway. But what Jeongin was really uneasy about were the last few classes. The physics one was based on student pairs. Jeongin was luckily with Felix but they were sitting right behind Changbin and Hyunjin.

Which meant he couldn't avoid having the new kid in his line of sight. And this was hard because once Jeongin caught a glimpse of Hyunjin's neck, he couldn't look away. He got distracted by the guy's collar that would slip further down with each of his movements, revealing a bit more of his soft skin and the muscles underneath. He wondered if the skin would get goosebumps if he caressed it. He wondered what it would taste like if he could lick it. 

Jeongin was snapped out of his trance by Felix nudging him to help him answer the worksheet. He mentally slapped himself for having such thoughts. Thankfully Felix helped him without knowing before anything shameful could happen to his own body. 

After that, Jeongin kept his head low, trying his best not to look at their front neighbors. It almost worked. When the class was dismissed, he accidentally met eyes with Hyunjin, who was putting the strap of his schoolbag on his shoulder. It pulled his collar on the side and revealed even more skin than it should. Jeongin was like a bee attracted to flowers and he couldn't prevent his eyes to glance at the naked skin for a second. 

When they came back to Hyunjin's eyes, he saw a surprised look on his face. Jeongin knew he had caught him looking at his exposed neck. Now he was sure the guy thought he was weird, not like he cared anyways but it was still embarrassing. Jeongin failed to see Hyunjin's discreet smirk because he immediately rushed outside of the classroom. 

However, the next class was worse. The teacher was a strict and uptight one, she had picked herself the student's places, which resulted with Jeongin being sat next to Hyunjin. Jeongin was doing his best to stay on his side of the table and be as small as possible. His body heat was already rising a little since they were approaching the end of the day.

He mentally cursed at his bad luck, and more so to himself because he hated that his body was attracted to the other guy. He didn't want to be creepy and react this way, he was ashamed. He didn't even know the guy that well and didn't want to fall for his good looks only. And Jeongin couldn't have anyone in his life anyways, not when he was hiding such a big secret.

Jeongin was interrupted in the middle of his internal rumbling by a faint smell. Usually he would have to concentrate really hard to be able to trace back people's scent but right know he was hit by a whiff of musky smell yet quite deep and rich which reminded him of a green forest. Behind it was a low fragrance of sweetness and freshness, that made Jeongin salivate against his will and feel suddenly shy.
