Chapter 1

It was earlier spring, Rebecca keep visiting Asher every day since she learn about his past but know he want revenge.

Took some time for Chloe to get Midnight Light club also her daughter but they were hard months for her to balance it all.

Alex and Mark feel like everything was perfect but Alex was worried that Asher would get out of prison. Alex helps work on some painting but remembers that she meets Chloe and Steve at Midnight Light Club.

Alex pass Mark and Scott who sitting at the table 'I will see you later, love you Alex said as she kiss Mark on the cheek. Scott just watches Mark 'you are so happy with Alex' Scott said as he sees the happiness in Mark.

Mark laugh 'yeah I am happy but more when I asked to marry me' Mark said as he show the engagement ring to Scott. Scott took out his phone and took a picture of the ring 'that great man but Chloe will kill me if don't show this picture' Scott said as he got from the chair. Scott gave Mark a hug and head out the front door.

Alex's phone keeps ringing for an unknown number also sometimes she tries to call her sister but she doesn't want to talk to her. Then Alex see Ava's head somewhere and didn't know where.

In the shadow, Rebecca was watching Alex from afar because going things are in place.

Alex was a few blocks from Midnight Light Club knowing that she need fresh air from walking but soon her phone started ringing in her purse. Alex pull out her phone from her purse to see that Chloe was calling her. Alex laughed 'I had feelings that you would call me for help' Alex said as she make a joke to Chloe.

Chloe would feel that would be nice 'that would so nice' Chloe said as she could breathe for once. Alex smiled 'just a few minutes, I will be there she said as hung up on the phone.

Chloe put the phone down on the table and ran her finger through her hair feeling streeted 'you want some cake' Steve asked as he pointed at one of the cakes on the counter. Chloe looks at Steve 'No I'm good but maybe Alex wants one' Chloe said as he cover the cake.

'You need a panther to help you with the club' Steve said as he wants help Chloe with the club. Chloe smiled at Steve 'I would like that but what about your clothing line' Chloe said as she did want to figure it out herself. Steve didn't think about it 'I need work on collection' Steve said as he slowly reach Chloe from his phone.

Then soon Scott walk in from the back 'you two look like having fun' Scott said as he kiss Chloe on the cheek. Steve put his phone away 'yeah but I will be leaving now' Steve said as leaving the club. Chloe smiled at Steve 'I have something to show Scott said as he pull out his phone to show the picture of the engagement ring 'why show me a photo of a ring Chloe asked as she worry that Scott was cheating.

Scott could tell that Chloe was getting the wrong ideas 'No Mark pick up for Alex' Scott said as he gave Chloe the phone 'Alex is going to love it' Chloe said as she was excited about it.

'I would love what?' Alex asked as Chloe gave the phone back to Scott and turn to Alex 'you would love this cake' Chloe said as she pointed to the counter. Alex laughed and sat down beside Chloe to grab the cake 'you right about cake' Alex said as she started slicing of cake.

Steve thought good ideas leave them. When to see go Josh at Ruby's bakery. Josh finish putting the cake out of the oven and place it on the counter 'Skyler it's hot on the pan' Josh said as Skyler grab a cupcake from the table.

'Do think that Quinn going to make up with Alex?' Skyler asked as she looked at Josh. Josh places his hand on Skyler's head 'I don't know but maybe we have family dinner' Josh said as he thought that would bring them back together. 'That sound like a good idea will go tell mom about it' Skyler said as she ran past Steve and head up the stairs.

'That will be fun by nightmare' Steve said as he didn't anything do to it. Josh walks toward his boyfriend 'if that happens I pay for drinks next we go out Josh said as he show it we be fine.

Scott was walking on the street heading to Ruby's bakery but ran into Asher 'sorry man' Scott said as Asher walk away from Scott. Scott two shocked to see Asher out changed his plan to give Mark a warning of Asher had been out of jail.

At the police station

Mark stood in front of the glass to see through the glass. Jason was trying to get some answer from Mr. King 'Mr king we have DNA of Skyler is your dead wife's daughter that I think to want her dead' Jason said as slap his hand on the table.

Mr King looked at the door knowing that his stepdaughter would come in 'Don't say anything father' Ava said as she put her files on the table. Ava open her files and sat down beside her stepfather 'yes course daughter' Mr. King said as he look at the glass.

Mark was pissed off about it but decided to see how it will play out 'so you're his lawyer? Jason asks as lend back on the chair. Ava place her hand on the table together 'now let's talk about a deal for my client' Ava said as she wanted to help her stepfather.

Jason lend forward 'I want contraction for his wife's murder' Jason said as Mr king whispered into Ava's ear 'he will give you concession but take off jail time off the table Ava said as she want that deal would work. Jason know that was only that he would get the answer 'fine but I want it all in writing Jason said as he push the paper toward Mr. King and got up from the chair. Mark turn away from the glass 'so that good news for my mom can rest in peace now' Mark said as feel good that her murder can stay in the past.
