"You know because Finn's arm is mint," Bruce explained to Y/n, his girlfriend, she didn't really care about baseball, but she could go hours upon hours listening to Bruce talk about baseball.

"Mint? What the hell is that supposed to mean Bruce?" Y/n looked up at him, confused. He laughed as he snuggled up to his girlfriend.

"Mint means strong, he's got a good arm, he almost got me," Bruce smiled as he pecked Y/n's head she smiled as she saw him get up from off her couch.

"Alright, Im heading home, see y'a tomorrow?" He questioned her, she nodded as he left on his bike. Y/n didn't know that was the last time she saw her boyfriend.

When she realised that Finney had gone missing all she could think about was the last conversation she had with her boyfriend, Bruce.

When Y/n found out Bruce had died, and Finney had survived, she felt somewhat a relief. A relief for closure about Bruce, but also that Finn, who Bruce talked so highly about, made it out for him, for all of them.

"Hey, you were Bruce's girlfriend, right?" Finn asked, a month later, once he got back into school. Y/n nodded, she smiled as a tear trickled down her face.

"He spoke highly of you," Y/n told Finn who smiled back at her. "He said your arm was-

"Mint," They both said in unison, as Y/n broke down in tears and engulfed Finn in a hug. "He misses you, Y/n,"

"I Hope," Y/n wiped her tears as she stepped back.

"He does, Y/n, more than ever," Finn emphasised on ever. Y/n nodding, believing him, she knew she could, since they had some type of psychic insider.

"See you around Finn?" Y/n questioned as she fidgeted with the bracelet around her arm that Bruce gave her. He nodded at her. "Of course,"
