Elfposter Among us

Santa prepared himself and finally started to announce his speech "Ahem." Santa said and everyone looked at him "Morning everyone." Santa said "Morning Santa Claus!!" All the elves yelled. Mince looked confused since he's never been to an elf meeting before and he was nervous. Noelle smiled at all the elves. Normally she would be up there with Santa Claus but since she knew nothing about what was happening she was in the crowd. 

"Now you all may be wondering. Santa Claus, why have you called this meeting? Well I have some.. Interesting news.. That needs to be brought to everyone's attention." Santa Claus went on. Noelle could tell clearly that the elves were very worried. Santa Claus kept up his smile "It seems there is an.. Elfposter among us." Santa said and everyone gasped "An elfposter!?" An elf said and the entire room filled up with whispers. Noelle looks up confused and spies her mother calling her up. "Oh, it seems I am wanted backstage." Noelle says and Tinsel grabs her hand. She looks at him "Remember what I said, do not tell the big man. You don't want to put him as much stress as it is now that we know there's an Imposter." Tinsel said and Noelle looked down "Fine.. I won't tell.. Only because I trust you." Noelle says and he lets go. 

She walks towards backstage which is just upstairs behind the balcony and behind Santa. Noelle walks towards Margaret and she doesn't look happy. "Mom, you called me." Noelle says and she smiles at her "As you heard, it seems there is an elfposter among us. Santa isn't in the best mood. He trusts his elves very much and hearing that one of them is betraying him is breaking his heart." Margaret says and Noelle looks down.

"I was surprised when I heard that one of the elves would betray us." Noelle says and Margaret nods. Santa finishes his speech and spots Noelle. He walks towards her "So you heard." Santa says and Noelle looks down "I'm sorry dad." Noelle says "Why are you sorry? It's not your fault. It's my fault because I didn't raise my elves well enough." Santa says and Noelle frowns "It's not your fault. It's his fault." Margaret says and Santa looks at her.

"I agree. It's his fault. He's corrupted one of my elves. And it's my job to find them and turn them back to the good side." Santa says and Noelle smiles. "Yeah I agree with you, but there's one problem." Noelle says and he looks at her "What?" Santa says "Who is it? More importantly which elf." Noelle says and Santa shrugs "The worse thing about it, is that we don't even have a hint on who it is. There are thousands of elves working for me and I don't even know who it is.." Santa says and Noelle sighs. She looks over to Margaret "Well, don't worry Dad. We'll find out who it is." Noelle says and he looks at her.

"Yeah, I hope so. I'm just worried about what the elf would do? What's his plan? And why was I notified about this by a letter? And is 'HE' actually behind this? Obviously he probably is since he always is but, Maybe we have an elf that doesn't like Christmas?" Santa says and Noelle looks at him "Enough with the questions. Christmas is two days away and you're sitting here worried like an elf on Christmas eve. We still need to test drive the sleigh in case the elfposter has sabotaged it. When you're finished with that come home and I'll make you some hot choco." Margaret says and Santa looks at Noelle "Alright then." Santa says.

Noelle went to walk back when Santa grabbed her arm "Huh?" Noelle says "Answer me this." Santa says "Yes dad?" Noelle answers "How is the miracle worker?" Santa asks and Noelle looks nervous "It's never been better. Tinsel's been helping.. A lot." Noelle says and Santa looks confused "Tinsel?" Santa says "Yeah, Putting Tinsel to protect the miracle worker really helped.." Noelle says and Santa looks worried "Oh uh.. Yeah. I thought you could really use the help!" Santa says and Noelle leaves.

"Honey.. You never told Tinsel to protect the miracle worker.." Margaret says and Santa watches Noelle leave "Now I see your motive.. You're trying to sabotage the miracle worker so I never take off." Santa says and Margaret gasps "But the only way he'll be able to do that is-" Margaret stops "Is to kidnap Noelle." Santa says and quickly goes to the microphone "Every elf in this building, Capture Tinsel!" Santa yells.
