We Can Do This,Together

Chapter 7

Me and Luke finally got to Tony's house.

We kindly knocked on the door and with no response we just entered on our own.

"He's probably asleep in his room." Luke said.

I slowly and quietly opened Tony's door to his room.

As Luke said, he was asleep in his bed. I scanned over his face and body for his wounds.

His knuckles were bandaged, his lip was cut and he had bruises all over his body.

" God, what the fuck were you thinking Tony." I whispered.

I slowly reached my arm out to touch the bruise on his forehead.

My thumb grazed his head, examining the bruise.

Then I heard an awkward cough by the door. I turned to see Luke. I quickly stood up.

" I'm sorry if I was interrupting anything." Luke whispered.

" No your fine." I said embarrassed.

We both stood there silently just looking at Tony.

"I'm going to go make some lunch in case he wakes up." Luke said and slipped out of the room.

I started walking out until I heard a groan.

I turned around and saw Tony's eyes flicker open.

He looked over at me and smiled.

"Hey." He said smiling.

"Tony what were you thinking! You look horrible!" I whisper yelled so Luke wouldn't come up.

"Eh, it could have been worse." He said.

I chuckled a little and started walking out the door.

"Wait! Where are you going?" He asked and started getting up.

I ran over to him.

"Nooooo you have to get some rest and stay off your feet for a while." I said and pushed his body back on the bed gently.

"But where...."

"Tony I'm just gonna go see how lunch is coming, Luke's making something for us right now." I said quietly.

"I'll be back in a minute." I whispered and walked down the stairs.

I saw Luke stirring something in a big pot.

"Sooo, what ya making?" I blurted.

"It's soup. Wanna try it?" He said holding out a spoon.

"Sure." I walked over and tasted it.

"It's good butttt, it needs some spices in it." I ran to go get the spices.

"No! Your not changing my delicious soup!" Luke said trying to grab the spice out of my hand.

"Just a little!" I struggled to get over to the pot.

Luke grabbed my hands and pinned them above my head.

"Noooppoeee!" He said grabbing my spice and now holding it over his head so I couldn't get it.

"Hey!" I said while jumping in the air trying to grab it but it wasn't worth it.

We both stopped and started laughing.

Luke took his arms down and put one shake of spice in the soup.

"Happy?" He said while we were still dying laughing.

Then all of the sudden it got silent. It was not an awkward silence, but a comfortable one.

He looked up at me smiling with me smiling in return.

Before I knew it, he was right in front of me.

He dipped his head down and our lips met.

Before I had any time to think I just pushed him away from me.

He looked at me with sad and confused eyes.

I looked at him and ran away.

Away from Tony's house and more importantly Luke.

I just need to clear my head...

I am so sorry guys. I haven't updated in like almost a year. I've been really focused on school and totally forgot about this book. I promise after this week is done (finals week. Kill me now) and I get out of school it will be summer and I most likely won't be doing much so I will update ASAP. I hope you enjoyed this chapter and who do you think will end up together?
